My first semi was a spyder compact because i didn't want to spend a ton of money, and didn't really want a BE. What is a good pump to get for a reasonable price? I don't really know anything about pumps.

How much can you spend?

under a $100, but would rather about $80. This won't be my main gun.

For around $80 you can get a PMI Trracer or PGP.

i was thinking of doing the same thing. I was wondering if the SL-68 II is any good.

The SL-68II is a very good and durable pump. I strongly recommend you buy it if you have the opportunity.

MAN go for a crystal tigershark, they're like 50 bucks, that leaves enough for a sight if u'd like, and SL-68 is nice, but they're like 100-110 i think, maybe not but i still think u should go with a tigershark if u'r just getting into pump dont buy nothin nice that u may not like later. THe crystal shark has the looks with performance for a low price.

$110 isn't that much. If he doesn't like the SL-68II after he buys it, he can just sell it. They have excellent resale value.

I didn't mean $110 was expensive, i meant it might be out of his budget.

But if he said he is thinking of buying it then I doubt it's out of his budget.

actually I was kinda thinking of getting a tigershark with a long barrel and scope for the fun of it. I think I might do that. I actually don't have that money, but want something new to play and fool around with. Anyone got a tigershark with scope or long barrel or any add ons?

have any of you played with the SL-68? if so, how did you like it? I'm honestly considering buying one. It's between a SL-68 with a sight, new barrel and a 12 oz. tank. or an e-lcd for my spyder.

Sorry Jordan, but some peeps just like pump!! I mean i know alot of peeps with tricked out spider and parahnas that wouldn't upgrade to an shocker cause they like playing semi. Besides trying something different every once in a while isn't exactly a bad thing.

I agree with skull, pump is fun to play, I like to just fool around with a pump gun even if it is a cheap one like a brass eagle.
my 2 cents

Go for the Diablo, a great gun for the money. 70$ or under, and it really is great! Accurate, only real downer would be that they're somewhat loud. But for the money, well spend cash.
Look into the Gun!!@!!@!!

I really like my mav. Shoots real nice. I got mine used for about $35 and you could probabaly find one used for around there. I have a shark too but I prefer the maverick.
