I'm tired of paying a fortune for paintball gear. Why is it that a angel cost $1500. When after testing it you should get more from $1500. Or any other paintball item. $210 for a HPA system or more. Ludacris isent it. I say it is. Who else thinks so. I should be able to have a angel but not the price they ask for.:pissed:

Well, if you look around you can get a lot of things cheap. Paintballwatch.com is a great place but they seem to be missing a few sites but a great place to start your search for cheaps gear. Most people who get angels are either rich, sponserd on a team, have won them, or have won the money to buy them. HPA systems start at like $75 for the metal ones. The reason they are exspensive is that there is a regulator on the bottle plus, the fiber wrapping is exspensive.

but still i find paintball in general is expensive. Well every other sport is expensive too. Consider snowboarding, the snowboard, boots, bindings and your suit will cost you like $900+ canadian...450$ u.s. There aint many sports out there that are cheap. Hack is the only one that I can think of that is cheapest..

there are some things i don't mind paying for, but when I look at barrels that cost as much as my car payment, well, that's a bit much ... or HPA systems that cost $300, $400 or $500, that makes me shriek.

Here's a story along those lines, a buddy of mine bought a Freeflow cocker, then sent it to Sandridge for an electro mod ... well, as he put it, "I paid more for my gun than I did for my car."

sidenote: his gun went down and he had to send it back to Sandridge, which sent it back to him unfixed.

I know most sports are fairly expensive but it still really does suck that paintball is so expensive. As far as Angels being $1500 I don't see how any paintball marker is worth that! I actually prefer a standard semi over something that can shoot that fast because it saves alot of money on paint! I couldn't even get the money for all of the paint some people shoot!

Well its a pain in my *** when I see something I like and its a ton of money. I remember when gear was cheep and paintballs were expensive. I honestly dont see why a custom marker is so expensive. Its the same gun with altered parts and milling and a nice paint job. So what. It should all be the same price.

Accually as far as markers and upgrades go I don't really care too much if they got cheaper. Simply because once you have a marker all you have to do is take care of it and it will last you an extremely long time. The big thing for me is paint! It is fairly expensive!

Prices for markers really are not that bad in my eyes. You have your Ferrari "angle" and you have your "Pinto" the $29.99 special. BTW not making fun of those with Pinto's. What hurts is the price for paint. It adds up really fast. A day of paintball is about $60 - $70 by the end of the day. I don't even what to add up the amount I spend in a year.

I expect equipment to cost more, some I think is very overpriced, but I also look at it this way. A marker, a tank or other piece of equipment is usually a one-time expense. Paint, on the other hand, is a recurring expense.
