just currious, because I'm doing a presentation for school, on web usability, and I'm focusing in on paintball fields.
Since you guys are much more into paintball than the average person, what do you want to see immediatly? prices, hours, field layouts, forums..anything else?
and if you had just heard that a new field was opening in your area...would your opinion of it be influenced by the content of their webpage.. (IE. there were no pictures, no mentioning if it was BYOP, etc..)

field layouts, extensive pics, classifieds, coupons? printable coupons would be cool.

Pictures are always good, I want to know if the place I'm playing at is not some crap field with things thrown together. I want to see the types of layouts and things.
Things I look for at a field's website.
Prices
Field map
Field Pictures
Actual Action Pictures
Forums for that specific field
Special Days/Coupons
Any affiliated teams
I'd like a site that focuses more on clear and easily accessible information rather than a flashy eye-candy site.
The more information, the better. Prices, promos, times, description of fields, pictures, etc.
Forums are good too, for the regular players to hang out on. Especially if your field is the only one in town (like where I live), the local field's forums are pretty much a place for players for that town to hang out on.

I like to know if there's a proshop along with the afforementioned things. Proshops come few and far-between where I am, so I like to look for that stuff.

Message boards are good, bc u can ask any questions about the field and such whenever u want. Also see how popular it is by how many people join.
Lots of pictures of all different angles of the fields, shop, stageing area, other facilities. Good detailed map.
Calendar of events
Pricing
What kind of paint they offer, if FPO or BYOB, other specials.
size of entire place, how many fields they have. What they try to offer to customers.
Feedback on service,and facilities.
