sounds like your trying to make an ion good. good luck with that one - a good ion would look alot like an x mag. same as a good imp would look the same as a bushmaster. and the shocker- well a good shocker would look alot like an assult 80. it seems the pattern of smart parts guns are (crappy version of nice gun)+(hype)+(sueing people)=great gun
sorry it had to be said.

cocker punk an ion is better than your cocker if thats what u have........
Ions are great markers i will laugh when i hear you got your face mowed by a person using an ion.
Cocker punk=never shot an ion so therefore he is just a hater cuz he spent more money for his gun than i did for mine, but yet mine still would kick his markers ***
research next time n00b

a marker can not kick anythings ***. that coment right there makes me know that your have no idea how paintball works. players play against players. not guns verus guns. the gun is a tool and as with all tools the skill of the user is in the end what shows. musical interments don't get the credit when musicans play them.
pattawa - actually i do own a cocker - however i also own a DM5 and own a phantom vsc. which one is my favorit? thats easy, phantom. what you don't understand is that what gun you have means abosolutly nothing as to how you play. the fact remains that i have played at many open class tornaments with my phantom and my team consitantly places in the top five. so obiously we are doing somthing right. and no an ion is not better than my cocker - you just think it is beuace you've only been playing paintball for less than a year. yes i've shot an ion, and yes they suck. i'll take my DM5, cocker or my many pumps over you ion without hesitation. to quote my hero - "the only bounce a smart parts gun should have is when it hits the bottom of the garbage can." do you even know what an assult 80 or an x mag is? look at how a gun works and whats required of it, then see how its made - and thats why ions suck. an open bolt blow forward design (like tha automag) requirs high quality milled steel and aluminum parts (like the automag), and it needs some type of consitant valve setup that can keep up consitantly (like the automag). the ion has none of these things. and don't even debate me here i happen to be studying to be a mechanical engineer. smart parts hasn't developed anything new for paintball since the freak kit. they have just reinvented and stolen other gun designs untill they are on top, the old school shocker was even stolen and not designed by smart parts! what works well in the buseness world isn't good for the paintball world. wow ok, im not coming back to this thread. pattawa - i hope that after you play paintball for some length of time you'll come to realise that the marker you own and shoot means nothing as to how you are as a player. good luck!
PS this is the exact reason i hate going out of the BST area in any paintball website, to many kids who think guns show what kind of player you are. live and learn - when your older you will look back and see how this is true.

just get out of my thread. Please. I am trying to sell a gun and i dont want this close because of you.
your right the gun is a tool but you want a good tool. Like if you hammering a nail in a board you dont want a toy hammer you want a realy hammer.
Yes i know what an xmag and assault 80s are.

And I must say, that you are a disgrace to Phantom owners. A true Phantom owner would not diss or put down any kind of marker. I have been schooled by a guy that has an ION, of course...he used to play with the naughty dogs, and he could kick my but with a Blade. But just stop spamming and making pointless posts.
