I just received my brand new stock B2k w/ PDS and I am having problems (this is my first paintball gun). The first time I used it I shot about 200 balls and it fired fine no problems. The pressure setting out of the box was 350psi. It seemed like it was shooting at really high velocities, so the next day I lowered it to 180psi per some suggestions from this forum. I also adjusted the trigger a bit. So today I go to shoot the gun and the following things occured:

1) When I was shooting fast, the first shot would fire fine but then the pressure would not recover quickly enough and the rest of the balls would travel like 10ft before hitting the ground. The recovery was sooo slow that when you pulled the trigger once it took a few seconds for the pressure to go from 0psi back to 180psi...you could also hear a pssssst sound from the hp reg as the pressure went back up.

2) After trying to adjust the hp reg back to the factory setting of 350psi, I tried to fire the gun and it wouldn't even fire anymore. I had to manually discharge the gun by manually moving the bolt back and forth.

Can anyone help me? This is very frustrating coming from a brand new gun. I am tempted to send it back, but its such a hassle. I gotta be missing something. It fired without any problems the first day I got it!

Ok you need to set your reg at about 250 psi, and for the shootdown problem try a new battery, or if that dosnt help you may need a new hp reg. I had the same problem it was just the battery.
Are you running co2 or compressed air

first, set your inline to 250psi, and set the LPR correctly (read the manual or I think its in our FAQ). If you're still getting bad recharge, make sure your on/off is all the way on so the gun isnt starving for air, its a noobish problem but it wouldnt be the first time and certainly wont be the last. Also make sure the on/off isn't turned too far in, this could jam the tank pin. let us know how this works and we'll see what we can do from there.

Thanks for the responses...I trouble shooted it myself and figured that air was not getting to the hammer...so I took the gun apart...lubed it and put it back together. Turned on the air, and bam the bolt cocked. But as I was shooting it, the pressure would go down and not come back fast enough. So I played around with it...and decided to get a new HP reg, since its a recommended upgrade anyways. I bought the CP reg. And magic...everything works fine now. So thanks for your responses!
