Try g3pb.com, MTN. PB, County pb, just do a little research. There are a few posters in the Bob Long board that have links to these places in their sig's.

If you are in Canada, I'd suggest victory balistic works www.vbw.ca . I bought mine from them, and they've completely restored my faith in online ordering. I was kept up to date, got fast service, and was extremely happy with everything. If you're ordering from the states, well you're on your own

VBW Rocks. Twitch is right. Me and my buddies have ordered a bit from them and our e-mails get answered within one business day and if he says it will take a week to get your stuff, it takes a week. It is a very reliable site and his prices are pretty good.

did you know that i am completely suprised at how many canadians are on these boards. Maybe it is cause we spend more time inside hiding from the cold, but it is cool nonetheless. Twitch, you should spend more time in the canadian forum.

i dont need anything else right? For my sindwinder? What do i need if anything for my sidwinder like for my gun?
Ic3Floe
01-20-2002, 03:02 PM
well you need a marker. Some paint. A tank (HPA). And that is all i can think of. Oh and goggles.
You shouldn't need n e thing special for your sidewinder. I could be wrong though.

If thats whas going to make you happy, order it. I would say go for the Gladiator. Go for the Bob Long. Go for the Centerflag. You like the Sidewinder. Get the sidewinder.

I would say "Shutup Hippy Trigger" (kidding, kidding :P)
The medium length sidewinder fits perfectly on my intimidator. It is also all you need to make your gun into a lower pressure intimidator. YOu will need to do the LP mod. A few useful hints for the sidewinder
1) Unlike most regs, when you screw the adjustment screw in, that decreases pressure. So don't screw it out all the way thinking that'll be 0 psi, because it will be more like 800
2) The sidewinder does not allow air to flow backwards through it. This means nothing in terms of performance, but when you disconnect your tank, your gun will still have enough air for one shot, so be safe, and don't assume because the tank is disconnected your gun won't need a barrel plug. Disconnect the tank, and then always fire a shot. This is also important because it prevents you from disassembling a pressurized marker.
Good choice on the Sidewinder, have fun

I know I'm not Twitch but, no you don't need to do the LP mod. I would reccomend it for nothing else other than ease of use. You can set your gun up alot easier with it done. The LP mod is easy to do as well. It will make your timmy a little bit more consistant.

ummm couldntr i get this?????? Volumizer, Increase Efficiency & lower pressure Available in Black or Chrome???????/ in stead of doing all that crap with the other one? Take other one off and put this one on would that work?
elTwitcho
01-24-2002, 12:58 PM
Even if you did that, you would still need to take a 3/8 socket and remove the pin valve from your intimidator

Other than the actual LP mod, the only other thing you have to do to your gun is adjusting the settings. Most of the time you'll need to bump your dwell up from 6 (or 12, depending on your solenoid type) to 8 (or 16, again depending on your solenoid type). Funny thing is though, that when I added a sidewinder regulator to my timmy from the Vigilante, I could actually decrease the dwell back to 12 and still run my pressure at 180 psi. I suspect that has something to do with the higher flowing nature of the Sidewinder over the Vigilante. What you can do, is this. Do the LP mod, and slap your sidewinder on there. If you have to use a fairly high pressure to get your gun shooting the field speed limit, then increase your dwell, then decrease your pressure. I know it sounds a bit confusing, so if you're confused, ignore the entire message, except for this part
**************************************************
If you find that you set your gun to fire at your fields speed limit, and the pressure your gun is firing at is not low enough for your liking, increase your dwell setting by 2. You should see a jump in your velocity. Turn your pressure down to compensate. Your gun is now running at a lower pressure.

Depends on what you have. If you have no regulator, get a sidewinder. If you have a reg that performs just ok, get a freak then a sidewinder later
