i am thinking about buying a reg....i was going for the pmi pure energy in chrome since it would match my gun

but twitcho says the vigilante is better for nitro so i figured i'd get that but they only come in black! is there any other reg for the same price or cheaper in chrome or red??

another reg question. I have a spyder se with expansion chamber, barrel, remote, co2. I wanna know what is the best upgrade to go with next. i am thinking it will be a reg, but the se has a hardline which i must get rid of, but how? Second question is does a reg. tell you how much co2 you have left? Lastly, i dont think i need a lp chamber, dropforward, cradle, atabalizer, or anything but a reg., am i correct? what is needed? thkansk all

Vig comes in red, I ahve one on my gun right now. It's gonna cost about 60 bucks, and it's alot better than the PMI

Hmmm, well with the genx, you get about the same performance as the vigilante, but with lots of bonuses like

a) Ugly as sin!
b) Makes a terribly uncomfortable grip
c) Costs More than twice as much!!!

With a setup like that, you may find it impossible to resist, but if you dont want any of those things, there's always the vigilante. And Black will match anything anyhow, so stop yer whining :P If you can find a MacDev Gladiator, that's about the only other reg I'd really recomend that's common. There is of course less comon regs that are really good, like the sidewinder from AKA, but those are expensive and not all shops carry em. If you're really really set on matching with your gun, you can get the PMI, the choice is always up to you, but the performance isnt going to be as good.

Vigilante is alot more consistent than the PMI, and has a higher flow rate

I have just got a 2001 cocker over the weekend. I was thinking about changing out the reg. I seen the post saying that the Vigalante was really good. Can you put a gauge on there. I have a 68ci PMI Energy tank. I heard they come preset with a 850psi reg on them...is that true? I also seen that I dont really need to get a aftermarket reg since the tank has one...is that true?
