Porting and Polishing

I want to add porting to the barell of my backup gun (BE Avenger) my new gun is in the shop. How can this be done ? Im to cheap to go buy a new barrel. After I port it how can I polish the inside?

polishing is simply taking a very light grain sand paper and sanding an object but if you where going to port a barrel you would be better off buying a new one unless you already have a drill bit capable of drilling metal

I think you'd be better off just buying a J&J ceramic, it's only $35 or so, and unless you really know what you're doing, you'll probably end up ruining your barrel.
