Bob Long Defiant Sub-Forum

As the title say, i think there should be a Defiant sub-forum. I know you guys will say that there isnt enough Defiant owners, but i think if we get a forum for the marker, maybe with just a FAQ, a pic thread, and Ultimate Sticky. then by haveing more general info about the marker wil make more PBR users buy this marker. I think it would be a good idea, but what does everyone else think?

Being that the internal operation isn't significantly different from an Intimidator, you should be able to get assistance in the Bob Long forum.

The Defiant and Intimidator are pretty similar, so they don't really need seperate forums.

I do think we need an Ego forum though, its a very popular gun and more and more people are buying them every day.

Defiant- No, use the Bob Long forums

Ego- Wouldnt be a bad idea, but I dont think there are many owners on Pbr.

A seperate ego forum would be used alot more and be more practical than a defiant forum.

:rolleyes:. you realize that the ego is nothing more than a timmy with a shorter ram and a pair of QEVs right? if anything the DF2 should go in the ICD forums, considering its original design is based off the b2k.

But since the Defiant is made by Bob Long, it should go in the Bob Long Forum. The ICD forum is usually reserved for ICD guns.;)

It is made by a diffrent company. And also it has a magnetic trigger.

and that makes what kind of difference? it's still an RDPV design, more specifically it is an exact copy of the timmy design with the exception of the two things i mentioned. it is literally a timmy ripoff with QEVs and a shorter ram/bolt. now i will be the first to admit that it is a damn good ripoff, and holds up to PE's shining record of product quality, however it is so similar in design to the timmy that until there is a signifigantly larger user base present here on PBR, there is simply no need for it, as most problems occuring with them can be solved by the minds of the BL forum, and if not PBN has an ego forum as well.

Well latley there has been a huge interest in the Ego. So I think even non-owners would post in the forum.

The ego is deffinatly different enoguh from a timmy too have its own forum. It should get one before the D2 should anyway.

If Action Markers, a company that doesn't even exist anymore, can have its own forum (with only 3 threads in the past 30 days), why shouldn't Planet Eclipse get a forum?

Yeah, 'cause it's hella wierd seeing threads about the Ego when I browse through the WGP forum. I mean, heck, the Ego isn't even MADE by WGP. And it's defenitely not a 'Cocker.

besides, with the way we in the bob threads have the ultimate sticky set up, it wouldn't be hard to either add a section for the Def or add an ultimate sticky of it's own.

Obviously one of the supers or mods is a big scenario player with all those forums with no posts in them, yet more popular guns dont get their own forums
