In the near future i will be looking to upgrade to a new barrel, but dont have $200 to shell out on a freak.
I have a lapco bigshot on my tippmann and the performance is unmatched by any other barrel I have tried. I know they now make it with Imp threads and was wondering if anyone here has tried it out?
If not, any suggestions for me on a respectable barrel $100 or less?

I tested out several barrels, and the lapco bigshot was the only one I liked other than the Freak.

hey, Wolvie, how did the J&J 2 piece do? (small bore, with RPS Advantage and Marbs)

The J&J 2 piece did OK, but again the only barrels that I found were better than the progressive are the Freak and the Lapco (with the right paint to barrel match) all others were about equal to the progressive.

Yea im in love with the bigshot on my Tippmann, so that will probably be what i choose to go with.

I was actually interested in the chrome version, but they dont seem to make it with Imp threads. I was thinking of getting the chrome bigshot for the cocker and getting a barrel adapter.

Ive never used an adapter before, so i dont know much about em... Will my perfomance or accuracy suffer at all by using the adapter?

From my experience, TeamColors, Midnights, and Blaze shoot really well through the Bigshot.

go for a freak with only one insert and get inserts as you get $$

My brother has a bigshot on his tippmann and it is a VERy great barrel. When I get either my impulse or cocker (i'm still debating the two) The first barrel i'm going to get for it will be a Lapco Bigshot or Autospirit. Both barrels are so under rated it makes me sick! :crazy:
