speed ball w/ bunkering!

this fridya.....me and like...........6 other guys (including dat one rich boy i told u guys about) and we are playin at his own field. we are going to play bunkering....and do u guys have any tips for bunkering play and also speed ball in general? i havent really gone speedballing much.........mostly wood rec.

These days, bunkering someone has become a regular part in almost any paintball game. To some people (newbies for instance) are scared to bunker a person. It really isn't scary once you've done it a few times.

Now, lets get to the basics there are 3 times of bunkering:

Strategic bunkering- For this bunkering move you need to have a plan. Plan a way in which the target will not even see you coming.

Distraction bunkering- For this bunkering move you get a friend (on your team ) to cover fire at the target. As he distracts him you bunker the target.

Last Resort Bunkering- This is a last resort move. You rush the opponent as fast as you can. This will catch him of guard. Only use this if you can't use the other 2 types of bunkering.

If you don't know what bunkering is it is this: It is using an opponents bunker against him. Which means you rush the opponent while the bunker is preventing him to run etc.

I suggest you don't bunker a newbie. Three shots in the neck by a dude running at them with an auto-cocker isn't going to persuade him to paintball again.

dont worry im not. im playin with.....my team against another team. the other team is my age too....all about 13 or 14..and they are a tourney team...so are we. we are playing outlaw ball at this one rich kids' acre large paintball field which has barrels set up too. i've just never played bunkering before....

I hope you have fun, Ive never played bunkering like that though, just seems like pain for no reason. I think it would be fun though, just dont get carried away and unload 5 shots in the neck or anything like that. Play safe play hard, have fun.

I would say dont be affriad just go out and have fun once you bunker someone if you have the chance to you will feel so great and you will be less afraid the next time and the next time untill the piont were you are noty even afraid yet I still get scared sometimes but I am working on it

well just ply as safe as possabile especaily if noone is a paramedic

pbsouljah, THe number one thing you have to remember about speedball, hyperball, sup-airball practically the same is that you always have to stay on your feet...


Speedball can last anywhere from 5-15min

30min very unliky

anyways keep moving and save shots you dont want to be caught in the middle of running to an obsticle and run out of paint

well where i play speed ball at a real field u are allwoed to bunker but no shotting close range.. if u sneek up on the guy u bunker hes out but 1ce ure within like 10 ft or whatever and he realizes ure coming its 1 for 1..ure both out..
i dunno

be carefull and in speed ball always i reapeat always keep lokking to your sides ...

A stragety I use is once the target's head is exposed I unloda at it, definetly it will make him duck. Once that happens I start to pound the bunker with fire as I rush the bunker as fast as I can. So my opponent doesnt think they can stick their head up. If they stick their head up, you got a shot. If not you can run up to the bunker and nail em...

Wow, 10 ft one for one rule... thats pretty harsh..
