No, the only gas thru grip you can do that with is the gadget grip, because it comes with a verticle adapter. Otherwise you need to buy an Impulse verticle adapter.

If you have a bare bones stock impulse then you will need a vertical adapter. You can get a basic one for about $15 bucks. Better yet you can get a VooDoo Full Flow adapter which will increase the performance of your impulse. Those are about $40-$50 bucks, but they are well worth the price.

where do i get a vertical adapter for an impulse. if i get a vertical adapter for it i can just put the basic on right

You can get one online from www.wermmods.com or www.e-paintballoutlet.com.

It's easy to install. All you need is an allen wrech and some loctite (thread sealer).
