i saw a brand new dragunfly for 75 bux plus shipping. i do like the cocker style but i heard its not cocker compatable. Main question... do these guns have potential to be upped significantly?

I am guessing that at that price, that it's a mech 'fly?
the problem with them not being fully cocker compatible is the front block, and the solenoid/5way. the 5way can be changed out with some drilling and tapping. Wulf1010 has the tools to do it, and has offered to do so for a really decent price. the frontblock takes a mod to change out, but he'd be more qualified to tell you what that is, than I would be. (Meaning I dunt know what the mod is, hahaha).
other than that, and the barrel being spyder threaded, just about any other cocker compatible part will work in them. I'm not sure about grips. I know that my led 'fly has a proprietary gripframe, so I cant get aftermarket grips for it. But I think that the mechs had a traditional gripframe on them. Somebody who knows more about the mechs will have to tell you about that for sure or not.

basicly your stuck with your stock front block unless you want to fill the front of the lower tube on the gun and mill the body. What you can do is upgrade all the stock parts on the front block. Ram, Lpr are both cocker compatible. The hole for the 3way is smaller then the stock cocker 3way, so if you wanna up that you have drill and retap the hole. As darke mentioned i have the crap to do this and am willing to help out with it.
The valve IS NOT cocker compatible, the barrel is not, the feedneck are not, and cocker bolts dont fit quite right.
The hammer kits etc, all fit. All cocker compatible trigger frames fit. So you could use an eblade on a dragunfly, but you would have to retap the front block to except an eblades solenoid.
75bucks is a pretty good deal for a fly tho, i sold mine for quite a bit more.

cool, thanks :)
took a look at it, and it looks like a good buy. specially since its still got the reg and drop included with it. along with the tools and spares.
I'm a little bit leary of the seller tho personally. Granted, he's got 100% positive, but only 5 sales. But the peeps that have left feedback for him, left pretty good comments.
and its a paypal auction, so if it does happen to go bad, you can at least get your money back. (hopefully......eventually).
he's only got one left tho, so better make up your mind fairly soon ;)
ooooooooooooooo here's the one I'D want! black to red fade 03m!
