I have a Pirahna G2 STS. I love everything about the gun except for the trigger, trigger housing, and grip. They are all plastic. I want to buy the Dye trigger housing and sticky grip, but the ad says "no trigger internals." What does this mean? What else will I have to buy? TIA.

im guessing thats all the mechanics that makes the trigger work and makes the gun shoot. open up the bottom half of your piranha and check it out yourself. its a bunch of springs in such. but im not sure where you could get it.

Do you think I could re-use the same stuff? I want a new metal trigger, but I don't want to have to find all new springs, etc.

Yeah, you can use your old parts. It's designed so you can do that. The only thing is that I've heard people say that sometimes with a new frame, the pieces don't fit properly with the internals and sometimes won't fire the gun. I don't know from experience though.

I have a DYE 45 frame for my spyder. They don't come with any of the trigger mechanisms so you end up have to use all the stock parts. Everything fit except the ballbearing/spring that holds the safety in place. Other then that it works great. It definitly adds a nice feel to the gun and it looks killer.

I mangled my spring, but I still have the ball bearing. I need to know where to get that stuff too. I'll try calling PMI soon.

I'd check with your local shop, they might be able to hook you up or call kingman and ask. I lost mine too, but since I never use it any way I'm not going to bother with it.

Seems to much trouble to me. You can get other good .45 frames that actually COME with the internals also.

Nah, it doesn't take that much work. Simply pop out yours, then pop it in the new frame. Also, I don't think the frame will fit onto a Piranha. Same reason why regular Spyder frames won't fit onto Piranhas and why Piranha frames won't fit onto Spyders. Their bodies are different. The Spyder bodies are a bit round on the bottem, and from what I know, Piranha bodies are flat.
