ok, looking at RT's now. What exactly does it do? Worthwhile upgrade? cost? Installation process?

I've heard that it fires the trigger when you pull the trigger and release it. Is this true? Is it possible to not have it fire like that if you install it? IE can i still fire just when i pull and then switch to RT fire if need be?

it diverts gas from the powertube/valve area to a piston behind the trigger which pushes the trigger back w/ force from the gas. You can adjust the airflow through an adjuster fitting on the side of the gun. The piston kicks the trigger forward and the pressure of your finger on the trigger pulls it for the next shot. Its fast though. You can sweetspot it by finding the right pressure to use w/ your finger. Basically the trigger bounces back and forth w/ the right pressure.

You will need a new loader if you do that. Probably an eggy.

Or a cyclone when they come out. Or if they have already come out. I havent really kept up with that many ups lately.

you can still fire semi by turning down the air flow on the adjuster, and not sweetspotting it.

IMO instead of pumping a lot of money into your tippmann, save up and get that B2k w/ PDS for 299 in the add on the side of the page. Or you can get a used electro for fairly cheap nowadays since the Ion has lowered resale of lots of guns. I wish I wouldve done that when I had my tippmann. It would have saved me a lot of money in the long run. I pumped a lot of money into all my guns, some I regret, some I dont regret YET. Im sure I will end up regretting it in the future. :D. Remember, the faster your going to shoot, the more paint you are going to be buying.
