What is this? Explain...when you leave tank out in sun....

it is where the paint ball is traveling too fast when it leaves the barrel this is detirmined by a radar chronograph..................safe speeds are anything under 300 fps (feet per second) (close to 200mph):D but your field may have different limits like 280 ect.
in coclusion 301=hot
...................299=not:D

When you leave a CO2 tank out in the sun, the pressure builds because:
P1 * V1 / T1 = P2 * V2 / T2
If T2 is higher than T1, and the volumes are constant, then the pressure must increase. There are three things that can happen when the CO2 pressure increases: (I will list them in order of severity)
1) The pressure is higher, and the velocity of your gun is higher.
2) The pressure is much higher, and your burst disk busts, then vents all of your gas.
3) The pressure is much higher, and your burst disk is a p.o.s., and your tank blows up, severly injuring or killing all nearby people.
Goverment regulations require strict guidelines for burst disks keeping situation #3 to a minimal (like, hardly ever).

lol.
It's easy stuff. Combined gas law? First semester of Physics? Bah, once you have the formula it's just algebra.
P1 * V1 / T1 = P2 * V2 / T2
P is pressure, V is volume, and T is temperature.
1 and 2 denote before and after in this case. (1 being before 2)
So...
T2 > T1, V1 = V2:
P1 * V1 * T2 = P2 * V2 * T1 (multiply T1 and T2 to switch sides)
P1 * V1 * T2 = P2 * V1 * T1 (substitute V1 for V2 because V1 = V2)
P1 * T2 = P2 * T1 (divide out V1)
P1 * (T1 + X) = P2 * T1 (x is the change in temperature, positive in this case)
Since (T1 + X) > T1, then P2 must be higher:
If we dropped the X, then the left hand side would be less than the right hand side....
P1 * T1 < P2 * T1
P1 < P2 (divide by T1)
