View Full Version : the matrix
im thinkin about gettin a matrix as my next gun and i got a couple questions. im thinkin about gettin from the matrix center. ive been readin that its decent out of the box but you need to get like a new bolt, chip and reg to have it perfrom well. if this is true, how much will it be all together? is there anywhere i can get one that is all upgraded and not insanely expensive? ive seen some that are around $1100 or so and i dont want to spend that much. thanks.

well lemme think here
plain old matrix:round $700
bolt kit (comes with a new chip btw): what is it american? $120
course you'd have to get a trinity reg (for a lower pressure, thus garunteed no chopping):$70
so that is what? $890 all together for a gun that will shoot amazing with just two upgrades to the gun
but reall there's other stuff you could do
get some horns
or a new trigger
or a different neck feed tube
or get a freak kit to go with it
get an angel air or somethin
so really for $890ish you can get a gun that you're going to love, and if you do go with the matrix center, will be backed by a pretty good company.
if you have any more q's throw them up or give me a pm, I'm more then willing to help you get a matrix.
ok, well i think im gonna go with the matrix. i gotta get some money tho.....is there anywhere that has it for cheaper than the matrix center or is this the best place to get it from? thx

Probably the best place in the states. But ACPP is a great place if you are in Canada.

matrix center is indeed the best place to go right now, just because aardy is in the midst of making a new matrix for everyone to have poo and giggles with. I've heard about it, and should be one heck of a gun that's for sure.

well okay I'll give you that you saw that, however quacker does not know much about the maintenance to the matrix. I was refering to everything, not just the price of the gun ;). but still quacker gets everything for dirt cheap.

ya he has everything for pretty cheap. He was pretty mad that Aardvark dropped their prices on the bolt kit and chip and trinity :D Well ne ways, ya. I realize that he may not be the most knowledgable but thats what boards are for. Saving a 100usd is worth it to some people.
whats the first upgrade to get for the gun? the trinity reg or the bolt and chip? i need to get a bigger tank, anyways. is there any special tank to get also, or will anyone do. i know these are stupid questions, but all the info u guys have posted so far is really helpin alot. thx

ya give me a bit of time and we will get the maintenance and trouble shooting down real quick.
Ya as far as we know we are the lowest price in the world on the matrix right now and it dropped again $975 CDN or roughly $600 US.

well unless you have a 16 oz. or higher kicking around then I'd suggest a bolt kit, but since you don't, I'd go with a trinity and getting a bigger n2 tank. that's what I'd do.
man quacker that's highway robbery you've got going down man.

what you don't like that price. Too low for you. Well I can raise it if you want. LOL
Hopefully I will have prices on the new LCDs coming out supposedly in about 1 and a half weeks.
