what should i do?
i have a spyder Xtra and probably won't ever be upgrading to a dif. gun or from c02 to nitro
i have a deal for a chrome dye double trigger frame with a rollersear and a trigger shoe for $75 shipped
or a Mako storm elcd for $80 + shipping
would getting the Mako be worth it without nitro
i'm worried about the bolt freezing i also won't be getting a revvy anytime soon
plz reply

We still talking about Spyders?:eyes:
Well, assuming 'yes', I'd still get the mako.

i've heard that the bolt will freeze with an elcd with co2

shoot slower.
You will outshoot CO2 either way. Get the Mako, and either shoot slower, or get a plamer's stabilizer or nitro. Also, I'm still not sure about option #1. I've never heard of a roller sear for a spyder (seeing as how the sear doesn't move against the trigger) and trigger shoe??? for a spyder trigger?
Oh, and you do have a revvy, right? If not, don't get either. I would rather shoot slow well, than fast and chop more than a sushi chef.

Sure, but seriously, I just saw at the top that you won't have a revvy for a while. You have to get one. I would rather have a revvy and no new trigger, than no revvy and the magic chef thing.... "It slices, it dices, it even makes french fries."

i've been pballing for a while and never chopped a ball
so if i get a revvy it will be After not Before i get a new trigger because right now i don't need one
with the mako i would have to get a revvy at the same time or it would be useless and i wont have enough money for both for a while
but anyways i've pretty much made up my mind
i'm getting the dye trigger frame
thanx for the feedback tho:)

Just saying, I would rather feed faster than I can shoot than shoot faster than I can feed.
Also, I really want to know about that Dye 45 frame, trigger shoe, and roller sear. That sounds like an ideal cocker setup, but I don't know how well a roller sear would work in a spyder because the trigger works entirely differently. The trigger raises the sear on the tip, the lowers with a spring powered plug from an inset. A roller sear decreases friction by rolling over a trigger plate instead of sliding. There is no sliding, and no friction at trigger - sear contact in a spyder.

He's right about the revvy it's a must. I didn't think I needed one until I started shooting air one day and had to shake my hopper constantly. now I still shoot air but only when I'm pullin over 10bps(no lcd) :). The revvy is the first upgrade that anyone should ever get. and with a cocker the second is replacing that crappy stock plastic trigger frame :).
Best of luck. I would have gone witht he mako. Trigger frame has nothing to do with bolt freeze unless your exceeding 10+bps with CO2 at which point your screwed anyways.
Best of luck,
Rascal
