Ok, these are REALLY close to being done. All that is really needed is to see whether or not you guys want it. So, who here would be interested in seeing the upgrade available. If you are interested and would like to know the price click here to e-mail meMoneymaker8500@aol.com . Here is a link to the DV8 info DV8 LCD (http://www.dv8products.com/dv8.html) that is the bm2k/defiant one, but the impy one would be very similar. Also if you have any comments or question go ahead and post them. Also as it looks right now it will be COMPLETELY drop in; NO drilling or permanent modification requiered! The kit includes the LCD, Grips, Buttons, and board. And YES vision compatible!

LCD grips are so useless! It doesn't help performance at all. Whats the point? Big waste of $$:pissed: :pissed: :pissed:

Vision comaptibility so you can tune yor vision from you screen, youn switch modes of fire from the screen, you can tune your rof and dwell from the LCD. It makes adjustments like that easier. Also it has a game timer.

Here is a simple thing that makes the LCD Impulse cool. Ask an Angel owner what there Dwell is set at.....they will give you a number. That # is the same on all Angels. Now where is the Dwell set on your Impulse?? The Dwell POT is not calibrated so for me it's at 2:00 but the same setup might be 11:00 on your gun.

I am also interested because of the Game timer...every tournie player should have one!!!

will it work with all grip frames (i.e. the I-frame)? and will it be comptible with the dye elcd sticky grips? but looks like a good idea, would be nice to adjust that stuff on a screen.

It will work with the I Frame and Werm Frame, but not any other grips. The display is built into the grips that are provided as part of the kit.

Exactly what Wolvie said.

sounds pretty cool... as long as it isn't too terribly priced... for over 150 or so i'd just keep my nice small screwdriver to do the adjusting...

The ones built into the frame are not buttons. Those are the trigger pins. The front one is for travel and the back is the pivot.

We are not sure how or where the buttons for menu selections will be mounted.

yea, someone had told me they were... but yea, that makes sense, does my blade trigger use them though? they seem to be real loose... back on topic, what kind of modes of fire will the new board have? just adjustable burst like on the bushy dv8?

now, about adjustments through the lcd, would this clash with my genesis board or will it be compatible? the genesis board adjusts through the trigger, and i have one installled on my gun in my werm frame , so wuts the deal will it be compatible?

R0berto

It's not compatible with any other board, other than the one it comes with. It replaces the stock andthe geness boards. The LCD board has all of the firing modes that the Genesis has.

FiRe ImPuLsE

that sux cause then id be wasting 110$ for my genesis board, and if it has all the same firing modes theres no point in the lcd except that its a lot easier adjustment wise

R0berto

you could always sell the genesis....
