Hi,



I own a spyder tl+ at the moment. but I want to sell it cause I wanna move up in the food chain (man it aint pretty when you got a little blow back and have a few electros aiming at you :( ......i learned the hard way). Anyways.... I checked the reviews....and to what I have seen, IT ROCKS....9.6/10 out of 250+ reviews. But the guy (he competes) that I know at the field told me not to get one cause it has some problems etc etc. So what you guys think? oh btw they said its around $800 CAN...so thats about 500 US..... is it too expensive? cause i see reviews clocking it at $400 US. and im not sure if i want to get it online since if there are any problems im gonna have to mail it back and forth since my local shop wont be authorized to fix it etc.

No Leader I've never had any problems. FOM checks every marker over before he ships them. And if anything does go wrong their service after the sale is top shelf, they back up everything they sell besides FOM posts here all the time, so you know it ain't a fly by night operation. I trust FOM & Walt totally!

unless you live in michigan or something it'll be long distance. For your question about the $500 U.S. for being too much....I think its a bit pricey for a stock imp. with that much you can probably get a few good upgrades like a Voodoo Full Flow, new trigger, and pay for shipping...hehe

thats definetely long distance for me i live in montreal canada. what really sucks.....in my area there are only 2 pb shops that i know off...... do they have an email that i can reach them with?

Wow man, that dude just wants your money, so he tells you Imps are bad, Walt and Craig can get you an upgraded Imp with VFF and Blade trigger for that price, $200 more and you can get a Cave Rat thats fully upgraded, go to that website find out what you want and give Craig (FOM) a call, if an Imp goes bad ( user error) e-mail craig and he usually can fix it in like 2 minutes over the phone, $500 is $100 over priced

But you would be better off callin them....then you can talk to them one on one and get some recommendations and stuff like that. Honestly, it won't take you more than 10 minutes to get your order done. Plus he gets like 5 million emails a day and has difficulty keeping track of his email orders. I live in texas and i called cuz i wanted to get my order right.

There are a few things that some people encounter with the Impulse, but some do not. The one is the first shot low problem and the other is bolt stick. If you order from FOM get an Impulse with a VFF and it will solve both problems.

If you have any problems in the future you should be able to fix most of them just by asking some questions here or visiting Wolvy's FAQ.

Plattonleader, I too had TL+ and was playing way too much paintball to keep up with all the electros. So I came to this site with the same exact question. Thanks to all the regulars on this site (too many to count), I ended up with a wonderful package bought from FOM(e-paintballoutlet owners nickname). I was able to talk to the techs on the phone and describe exactly what I wanted. Sure enough in 5 days, I had the gun that I had wet dreams about. Now I am a main front player on my team and the gun has kept up with me for this long.

Gun is a great step up from a blowback, Imp is very easy to maintain, easier than Spyder and if you do decide to go with Impulse, do yourself a favor and get it from FOM. If you ever going to have a problem with the gun, you will know exactly where to go for advice. I too, don't have a pro shop in my area, that was the reason for me to go with Imp, instead of Angel, Cocker or MiniMag. Those guns just require too much upkeep. Imp is like that energizer bunny, just keeps on ticking....

Ive decided to get an Imp no matter what..... the tl+ that i have now has kept me from playin front since i cant keep up with the fire power of electros and front is my desired position. but i gotta sell my spydy first.

btw this imp forum rocks...... ive never seen so many helpful ppl in any of the other forums :love:

Platton, In defense of E's poor english/spelling, Just remember when ya deal with over 300 e-mails a day, a spell checker would probably melt. I'll be the first one to tell ya I can't spell for the life of me. I'm not kidding when I tell ya I've got a dictionary right beside me for every single post I make.
As far as this being a Rockin forum and super site, I couldn't agree more. That's why I've made this my permanent home.

I would rather have a very knowledgable and very cool tech help me with my paintball needs, than having an English teacher. If that's what you want from the people you buy your kick *** gun from.... spelling... then I'd recommend going somewhere else.

Well Im going to E-paintballoutlet's store right now, I'll make sure everything is spelled correctly when your marker is sent out, man that was kinda harsh on "E", with all the e-mail they get no wonder some things are spelled wrong. After we all are human, and all prone to make mistakes. Look even Kat admitts it too and he's super!:laugh:

I can't say enough about e-paintballoutlet, Walt is great. I've got my shocker turbo from them and my new angel, plus everyone on my team (cept one with a kapp flame cocker) got their imps from e-paintball. Couldn't recomend them enough.
