The Multiple Switch has a few things that separate it from any other barrel. The Freak is darn good, but the MS is just a bit better IMO.

The MS inserts are teflon, and thus, harder than the Freak inserts. We had a tough time with bent Freak inserts, at least in our experiences. Also, the MS is more customizable than any other barrel. Once they add splash ano, I'll be even happier. I've never seen better machining on any barrel. Smart Parts and Dye are maybe as good, but definitely not any better. The Freak is ahead in one area...2 more inserts. One really big insert and one really tight insert. It's not a big deal though, since the MS can go insert-less for really fat paint, and super small paint will still shoot out of the smallest Equation insert.

The edge goes to Equation in my book.

Equation, the inserts are better, S/S teflon coated, the problem with both of these is customer support. After you buy the equation they ignore you, smart parts customer service is non-existant.

Equation is pretty busy nowadays. If you need something, contact the place who sold it to you. That's what our customers do, and it works out fine.

The problem is i got it from them and when i was asking about buying responses were quick, when i ask about returns i never got replies

I haven't had any problems with the customer service at equation


they called me told me that they were still making some of the inserts and told me to wait a while on them. they sent the rest of the package which worked cuz I didn't need the two at the time. sent me the other inserts in like a week and called to make sure that I got it.

not the best service but still pretty good

Im saying, AFTER your purcheses, anything about returns, or problems, they WILL ignore, I wanted to return my MS and get a Bizerk for my cocker and its been over a month and ive gotten 0 reply. i think the guy who reviewed the MS (KMA), had a problem with is (cold weather = bad) and they failed to talk to him as well

Well, that's another side of customer support that many companies don't have the time to improve. Well, some companies have the time, but don't care to use it. However, I do know that in the past few months, he's been bombarded with business, so that might explain some of what happened. He might have to pick and choose between selling more barrels or keep dealing with sold barrels. Ya know what I mean? As the business is growing, they have to concentrate on getting the word out and generating new customers. From what I've learned, the owner of the company takes time to deal with individual customers, which is rare. They also offer a forum for questions on their website. Well you see i didnt only send greg a msg by email (which is where he is bombarded), but i also sent pms to the two ppl who work for equation on this site (irrific, arizonakid) and i know theyve been on recently ignoring me.

We don't ignore anyone, it's at times we just don't receive the e-mail ( it gets lost in cyberspace due to our server going on the blink ) If you e-mail Greg and he doesn't get back to you in 24 hours e-mail again, he answers everyone. we also lose orders on the internet as well. We promise to help on all problems.

i ordered the MS Pro 8 days ago and payed for the over night shipping and still haven't recieved it. WHY OFFER OVERNIGHT DELIVERY AND TAKE MY MONEY, IF THEY AREN"T GOING GET IT TO ME OVERNIGHT???!!!!!!

Equation has had a hard time it seems to keep up with demand. Their barrels are good ****. Be patient. I waited two weeks to get mine and like it very much. Just think of it as the item is out of stock. They can't send it to you if they do not have any.

Some of you dont realize its one person answering all of your 100+ emails aweek and trying to run a buisness and working a regular fulltime job all at once, can you do that? ya its hard, and its hard for me as well to keep up with emails and trying to answer them as well, if someone is interested in customer support and wants a job at equation design doing this email me at embroidered@aol.com and ill see what i can do.
