are you sure about this? I mean what solid evidence would canada have to ban paintball!There have been a few crimes down here in the u.s. of a but nothing major or any deaths occuring. Is this a differnt story in canada?

p.s. i will be glad to email or sign any penitions to prevent this(ya know,eh?)

Well, all I'm saying is I'm glad not too many people are taking a defeatist look at this and giving up right away, 'cause frankly that plsses me off. It was unintentional, and the government harbors no ill intentions towards paintball, so all you have to do is get on the phone and start calling, not just your representatives, but your friends, and most importantly of all, tell your local fields. If there is anyone who will fight this tooth and nail, it's them. They'll call people, and since their livelihood is at stake, they'll do everything to fight this. This isnt a losing situation, and I'm not entirely concerned, because I've made phone calls, and I know alot of other people will. It's a mistake and it will be corrected. To quote a friend of mine, who once said this about gun control

"If they want my gun, I'll give it to em... bullets first"

By the way, this is why we dont call it kills, war simulation, and dont use blood red paintballs. All you halfwits that insist on doing said behavior should take note

heres the letter i sent

Dear Canadian Officer,

The entire community is watching you. Begging you to not allow C-15 to pass. This community is the simple one of paint ball, of whom nearly 1/4 of this community is Candian. This new gun bill is a restriction of freedom for paintballers, making an innocent sport pay the price for the equipment involved. Yes in paint ball it is nessacary to point what has been unfairly deemed as a firearm at another person to become victorious. ANd because of this the entire sporting community is being hurt. Paint ball markers are not "guns", they do not fire bullets or any other projectile that is deliberately harmful. In a recent sport and injury study, paint ball had only 2111 injuries compared base ball or basketball, which had numbers climbing into the many thousands. And most of the paint ball injuries did not happen due the paint balls being shot, 94.3% were injuries such as sprained ankles, from falling on the paint ball fields. All in all, if you had no intention of banning paint ball markers, then please moderate and amend the bill as to allow paint ball markers. If it was your intention to outlaw the worlds fastest growing extreme sport, then you know not what you've done.

me neither! I wrote my MP and I am calling my local paintball places to get them to call or write! I am nervous and I would be pissed if this bill passed!
