Boomstick or Palmer brass

I am wondering which barrel to get for my cocker. I like the boomers looks but i think brass is a better material as far as friction goes. i am really looking for distance. which one would perform better? help me please I don't know which:bawling:

I have a boomstick on my cocker and love it. And the Palmer barrel is sort of ugly. But the manager of Palmers told be it shot just as good as a boomstick.
