hey does anyone know how a 12" Dye Xcel berrel compares to the IONS stock berrel? cuz i can get a new one for $20

I'd say its better. I really like my Dye Xcel and I would say they are about the same as any other aftermarket barrel in the sub $50 price category.

Are you wanting to know what marker the Xcel is on? The Xcel is on a M98, and has been for almost 5 years.
Right now I also have a
Impulse and Ion with J&J Edge Kit and of course the stock Impulse Progressive barrel, Minimag with Dye SS and Lapco Bigshot. I also have a brand new R6 I won at a tourney and a Mokal Titan, both with stock barrels sitting in the closet. I've also owned a Dye Boomstick, J&J ceramic, Full Freak, Dye Aluminum, and several other barrels that are slipping my mind at the moment.
