are you buying it new? If so youll have a manual (hopefully) which goes over everything very well. And 5 oz. of Evil pus (its just a kool aqua color dow 33.

To keep it maintained. About every 5 cases take ram and hammer assembly out of the back of the gun, relube orings. Get some gun oil, like gold cup or something and put couple drops in the asa, and shoot it through so it lubes your detonator. Unscrew LPR and lube where it tells you in the manual.

After play take bolt out, run squeegie through the top tube to make sure no debris in there.

Thats basically it.

The gun doesnt require any tools to do that, unless your ram/hammer assembly doesnt unscrew with the ramcap (if the ram adjustment screw is locked down) Then u need a adjustable wrench, or other wrench that fits snug onto it and unscrew the assembly from the back of the gun.

The pimp is a hybrid gun meaning a mixture of 2 or more things. Its a mix of a impulse and timmy (2 very popular tournament markers) It incorporates a cut down impulse type body, with impulse threaded feedneck and barrel and hammer assembly. Timmy lpr, timmy ram and so on. Comes stock with one of the best lpr and inline regs on the market, oring feedneck, 14" .689 pipe barrel (not as high quality as pipe kit such as backs being honed as good) A rail and on/off.

When u get it, id suggest unscrewing the detonator reg, taking the screen out of the top of it, then putting reg back on. This has no purpose plus may cause some problems, so just take it out and put it in your bag that comes with the orings and allen wrenches.

if u have questions, i could most likely answer any you have.. or help with anything.

you may want to get more detents. i would recommend getting hard timmy detents. $2.50 a piece. or you can do this > http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=1152628

papaintballer, my pimps ram will not come out of the back of the gun and you said something about that. Could you explain why it does not and how to fix that because i need to get some paint out of it.....don't ask long story

make sure there no air in the gun. Unscrew your ramcap.. and most likely your going to have to use a wrench to get it off. adjustable or standard wrench that fits. And then the flat part which is the end of the hammer/ram assembly unscrew that a couple threads then u can turn it with your fingers once it gets past 5 or 6 threads itll slide right out.

I heard it was bad to lube your reg by the old put some oil in the ASA and shoot a couple shoots once you go to compressed air because of the whole thing with putting alot of sudden pressure against oil could possible make it explode?
