MY QUESTION is I live in Southern California where the Absolute Coldest temperatures I will see is MABE 60 degrees at 9:00am and warm up to the high 60's later in the afternoon. Typically it's warmer, It's January and I played last weekend and it was in the low 70's....In the summer, It's between 80-100 degrees. With this said, do you think Nitro is nessesary? Will CO2 work just as good with all my current mods? I already spent a grip and don't want to spend anymore on Nitro but WILL if I have to..
THANKS

CO2 is a liquid, that turns into a gas. This transfer from liquid to gas varies under different circumstances which often change pressures (there are other variables like space, temp, volume, expansion, etc...) which makes CO2 not as consistant as nitrogen or compressed air. However Imps come with max-flo regs and handle these changes. As long as it's gas there's no problem. It's when liquid CO2 gets inside your reg or marker that the bad things begin to happen. O-rings take the biggest hit, and of course your marker will freeze up. Which tends to make you a very attractable target! Make sure you're tank is equiped with an anti-syphon device, and you'll be ok.
I run all my markers with H.P.A. (I've got a couple scuba tanks and fill my own) it's really a matter of personal choice and ease.

What if you run CO2 off a remote? This will eliminate any chance of liq Co2 getting in the gun.
I guess my question is will a C02 bottle running off a remote to the maxflow on my impulse work Just as good as Nitro on an average 75 degree southern california day?

Nitro will make all the difference! example: My friend had an impulse that he ran of C02. The consistency wasnt really all that great. When we played a tourney he borrowed an nitro tank. He got more eliminations cause his gun was more accurate.(remember consistency helps accuracy) I have nitro for my cocker.I thinkI also am gonna get a ratpulse(so tell me if ya like it) and I would never put anything but nitro through it:)
