ok i know this site is devoted to providing information by paintballers for paintballers, but alot of the low end markers i think get excuse my language, ****ty reviews. now with the high end markers, your getting reviews from mostly older more experienced players who actualy know what they are talking about, but with the lower end markers, your getting these little kids doing reviews... i think alot of the time they tend to give false reviews because they lack the knowledge to even be able to understand why the gun they are reviewing is not a 10, but more like a 6. they like it because its theirs, and i have suffered because of this. a while back i bought a rebel le, i was on a tight budget and found this shiny marker for 60 bucks less than retail on lowpaintballprices.com, so i came here and looked at the reviews, at the time it had an overall rating of a 9.3, which i thought was pretty dam good for 125 bucks. anyway i get the thing and it sucks. the rating is on the way to where it should be, still not quite there yet, but its at 8.7 now. i couldnt even believe they were selling this thing for 190 on the official site. it has an extremely cheap feel to it, the bolt moves around inside the chamber if you shake it... and this thing had a 9.3... i wanted something cheap, but good, and different. i was looking for an alternative to the 98 custom, and i found shiny aluminum stingray. i know they added a few features to the reviews, like the how long youve been playing thing, which is good, but i think there should be some kind of test you have to take and pass in order to review stuff on here. that way, if they dont know enough about it, then they cant post here, and if they realy want to, theyll look for the answers and in the process, possibly learn something. like you said "knowledge is power"
