I've ran into this problem too. As I'm sure numerous others have as well. I have not had good results with marbs. Sure, they travel qute a ways, but in warm weather, they do not break at long range. They bounce around like ping pong balls. However, in winter, they work well. I have had good resluts with fresh proball, and had good results with big ball. Big ball is what I usually buy. You can't beat the quality for the price. They beak on target about 90-95 percent of the time, and I usually have 2-4 balls per case break in the barrel. But, I do not play speedball with my flatline, so ball breaks are no big deal. Just experiment a little bit. You'll find something that works well for you.

Proballs are pretty consistent

Proball is the paint i've had the best results with. A break every so often, but highly irregular. I've also used Diablo Blaze. I only used around 500 rounds but i didn't have one ball break in the barrel period. A few times they didn't break on an opponent but that only happened twice out of the 500 rounds. But I'd go for proball. :D

ive been using Proball too... you WILL get breaks, but they dont happen too often, unless your shooting on the run

I have been using proball and they break good, pretty consistant. But I am not sure about the proball and flatline combo. I can tell you that nitro duck paintballs seemed to break a lot on friends flatline. he probably broke 15 out of 500 or so in one day.

I've used team colors with my flatline too. The results were nice. It was a while back so i can't remember what the ball breakage was like. It's good paint though.
