by sound do you mean the sound alarms? if so, than yes there is, i think you press the seconds button while resetting and it will be in mute mode . . . i have no complaints about my ric2k, it feeds fast and reliably, timer and ball counter are cool to have, lower profile (i haven't any hopper hits on it yet) i am happy with mine, i think they are great company, they have way better customer service than BE and they will be happy to help you with anything you need . . .

i cant get that thing to work to cut out the sound. Give me some more detail on how to do it. BTW i heard that the ricochets break easily. lyk when you get a hopper hit they break even on chronoed fields. Is this tru anybody?

the bottom of my feed tube (on the neck of the shell) broke because i didnt sand it down at all and it put on my sonic low rise (with an o-ring) so it was in there VERY tight and it was leaning against my couch and tipped over and broke about a half inch off one half of the shell at the bottom . . . hang on i have to go check my manual for how to mute it . . . it says to press the seconds button (far right) after you press the reset button, and you will hear a short beep (do it again to turn it back on and you will hear 2 beeps) that should work . . . hope i helped;)

aight im checkin to see if it works ryte now........alryte koo the only sound i got was when the game timer ran to zero. No other sound. But i have a question... if i get shot in my hopper at a chronoed field will ricochet send me a new hopper if i get a hole in the old onE? because its supposed to be deflection engineering.

i cant say i have ever seen or heard of that happening, i really dont think it should be a problem, though it has happened to revvies. even if it does happen, ricochet is a great company and im sure they would replace the shells for free.

i'm picken up one tomarrow... you could call me a post new bi cocker player but i'm getten better. my 9 volt isn't cuttin it any more and i hear bad stuff bout the halo so i will settle with the ricochet. I think it should be the most effective on my vert feed

I used an R2K for about six months and it quit working on me yesterday. I had numerous problems with this loader. First thing wrong with it was it always acted like it had a low battery (display blinking) even with a new battery. Next thing that happened is the tips fell off the paddles and then the trimmer line they used for paddles started coming loose from the motor. The paddles are easily fixable I hot glued them back together. The last time I played a game with the R2K the ball sensor switch broke(its very delicate) and that was it, no more R2K. I hope they will make good on this pos now.

So yesterday I got a HALO and it is simply amazing. I shot 1500 balls with the halo last night and am very happy with it. The difference between the R2K and HALO is night and day. The shop I buy my gear from won't even sell the R2K anymore they say it is junk and I agree. They had nothing but problems with all the R2Ks they sold and will no longer stock it.

The ricochet 2k is a great hopper. It's for guns that don't shoot over 13 bps. My sensor also broke. I called them up and they sent me 2 new sensors, no Q's asked. Great customer service. Mota should have just called them up.

Sorry for not following up on this. I did call them up and they sent me a new R2K within a week of calling. I agree, the customer service at ricochet is very good.
