How accurate is paintball?

I've never gone paintballing. I've only shot in my backyard, so I don't know how accurate paint guns are supposed to be. Mine doesn't look accurate. How far do they go? in feet/metres because mine falls to the ground they dont keep going. is that normal? Can someone also show a vid of a guy shooting something far away like a can?

From 50 ft, a 10" grouping is pretty normal provided the shooter is a steady shot.

With a good barrel, regulation, and paint you can have ball on ball accuracy, if you can hold the gun still.

More accurate than you throwing the paintballs yourself, but less accurate than a sniper rifle.
