Well, I'd say wait until you switch, but a good work out is carry it around the house with you constantly (bug your parents), and just sit there and pull the trigger over and over as fast as you can until your fingers get tired. Wait about 5 minutes then start up again.

ya if you are going to be switching to a timmi, i wouldnt bother spending time trying to get fast on the hinge (i found with pointer and middle finger on the hinge, i can fire it very fast) but with the timmi (or most electros) its a matter of just being able to move your finger just a little bit (kinda like wiggling) very fast (unless you have the pull set long) but if you find the spot where the switch is activated and just wiggle the trigger back and forth over that, you will rip on it.

I know that was intended as a joke, but they actuale have little grips made for working out fingers. I played in drumline for years and would use them all the time to make my fingers move faster and get better control of the stick (ended up really helping me in paintball.) You can get them at any music store. Its just a grip that fits in your hand and has indavidual buttons with springs that you press down on. They come in varied strenghts. You can also get them at rock climbing places and shooting ranges.

eh play trills on the piano. play trills on the trumpet. type two letter really quickly. i don't know, just wait for the timmy. electros aren't hard to get good BPS off if you know where to pull.

Yeah, I know about the finger weights. I have the individual one (with a button per each finger) for trumpet, three different putties for rock climbing, and a whole hand one for rock climbing. I haven't used them as much since I don't play or climb as often as I used to, but I should probably get them out for some paintball.

As for where you can get them, most music stores carry them (could be in percussion, brass, guitar, or piano sections though), and you can also get them at a store like REI, or Oshman's.

when i'm in school i just put a rubber band around something, then pull against w/ my fingers, alternating between index and middle. it actually helped a lot. also try pulling and pulling against the rubber band so you get faster getting off the trigger (i find that it what slows most people down)
but nothing helps as much as just getting used to your gun w/ air and paint
