I just bought my A5 about a month ago; and I've only brought it out to the field twice. I was installing a double trigger; and I tried out the pen spring mod; which worked great...untill I gassed up my marker.

I screwed the CO2 in; and I could hear it running right through my gun, and out the barrel. I cocked it; and I could hear the air leaking from somewhere around my FVA, or tombstone. I tried another CO2 bottle; and I tried it both with; and without my remote... No change. I can't figure out what's wrong!

I just ripped apart my marker; and tried oiling all the Orings (including the valve one); and still no change...

I'm sure you guys won't know what it is with the limited information I've given you; but maybe you could lead me through some kind of trouble shooting?

try oiling your marker under psi . put your marker together minus the barell. put 5 or 6 drops of pball gun oil in the asa(where tank screws on) and fire it 10 or so times. this will lube to o rings you can't reach inside the valve.

Well, if all you did was a double trigger mod and a pen spring mod, you shouldn't have messed with anything in the air to make it leak. Are you sure you didn't mess with anything else?

did you put the oring back onto the tombstone properly?

Well; after I went and reoiled all the Orings; It worked fine (today). It seems that the Valve Oring was in dire need of some oil; and the seal between it and the tombstone was screwed. So...problem solved.

Unfortunatly; my Remote is frigged now  I gassed it up; and it seems to be leaking from the slide check. The Oring from that was messed; and wouldn't seal, so I brought it down to my local Paintball shop. The guy at the desk took a screw driver, and wedged the Oring into the back of the slide check; and claimed it would work. It seems the seal is alright; but the leakage is still occuring. This time; it seems that it's either between the slide an slide check, or the bolt behind the check...I'm quite confused.

You might need a new female connector on your remote. That's what fixed mine.

A female connector? Where would I get one of those; or do I have to buy a whole new line!?!

it shouldn't be hard to find one at a hardware store. Especially if they sell air tools.

i don't suggest getting stuff from the hardware store. especially something working with high pressure air. If it was a decoration or extrenal/cosmetic thing, yeah the hardware is a nic place. But with stuff being pressurized, there comes a risk. Cuz at my field a guy used stuff from home depot on his gun. There was this boom!! hsshhhsssshhhhh and next thing you know the hose is whipping back and forth and he's bleeding really bad.. Just go on the safe side and get the pro shop to do it for you.

Okay, then get it from a paintball shop:

As long as it's brass, it should have the same pressure rating and shouldn't be a problem.
