Well, I went and bought a new nitrogen tank. It's a Crossfire 45/4500 fiber, and I need a regulator to replace the Kingman regulator on my Shutter. I'm looking for an inline reg that will screw right in to my vertical, I don't need a gauge, I already have one, and I want something with some kind of tourney lock. I'd like something in blue or chrome. I'm looking at the ANS Gen reg, but lately I've seen the ANS Gen 2 reg being mentioned on here. Are they the sane thing? So, what kind of reg do you reccomend? My gun will eventually be low pressure, so I need something high flowing. I really like the ANS reg because it's $80 from predator paintball and I've heard it's a great reg. If you have one in blue or chrome, let me know. I'm working on getting cash right now and I need to be ready for the big game in Madison. So......what do you reccomend? I know the ANS is a good pick, but what else is out there? Anybody got one for sale? And does it work on Co2 well? Not a biggy, but a nice plus.

Are you running LP? If so, try a Max-Flow:

Vigilante, seems like it's your best choice, and if ya ever stop running circles in the low end world, you can use it on a high end ;)
just kidding about the high end, just go vigi.

Yah, i say go with the max flow bro. Its a great reg, (as you know from me). I think P&P products made them blue in color. P&P adonize lots of things like dye boomsticks and other barrels that you can find on paintballgear. Maybe they adonize maxxys too.

oh yeah, remeber that reg the guy had on his cocker when he came down, mike? The guy that bunkered you even though I got him out...haa... well he had a nice reg. It was from Air America. I think it was either a Violator or Messiah or maybe a Black Ice. I cant remember but I dont really think it was the viglante. I hear the messiahs are low pressure but I am not intirely sure.

$150 for a reg on a spyder? emmm, that reg is heavy like no other, and you could get a nice lightweight vigi or Gladiator for less.

ya, if you are going to spend that much on a reg, i would get something like a sidewinder, max flow or stabalizer . . . i am not sure you would have much luck with the glad on a spyder (unless its LP) because the gladiator is a low pressure reg (0-500psi).

Hows the vertical max-flo. I haven't heard too much gossip about it on the boards.

So vigi or max-flow? The max-flow works on Co2 also right?
Thanks guys. Woah! Is there anywhere I can get a max-flow for like $100 or so?

i like my glad, it flows great and is pretty consistant, you need to keep it clean though, if it gets dirty it wont run well. i would suggest a sidewinder over the gladiator though, i think it will be a little more consistant and flow just as well if not better.

I dunno, for spyders (fast ones like this) i still recomend vigilantes. They work decent on CO2 if you have an antisiphon tube, and are cheap, easy, and lightwieght.
