You mean barrel threads? Griffin barrels are interchangable with barrels made for the F4, Pro-lite and Pro-Carbine.
If you are talking hoselines, Spyders are oddballs and use metric threading, as well as off-set bottomlines. Most everyone else uses standard threading, and the in-line bottomlines that WGP & AGD have kind of established as standard as well.
I owned a Griffin for a short time, liked it, and only got rid of it because I already owned a Cocker and didnt really need another gun. They have heavy triggers but make up for it with their awesoem cold weather performance, very reliable guns, although they did have some flaws at first, but I believe ACI worked them out for the most part.
Try to get a Griffin with the angled bottomline. Using angled bottomlines help keep liquid CO2 out of the gun, by placing the tank on a diagonal. ACI made a stupid decision when they put those bullet bottomlines on the new Griffins and F4s.

The ones with the BB (bullet bottomline) are the improved ones, so if you get one with the angled bottomline, it will have some problems with it. And amen, that was a stupid desicion, I would have paid an extra $10 if they kept the angled bottomline. On the plus side the F4 has a new stock barrel.
If your looking to buy a Griffen, and your not goind to make it Sonic or anything, spend an extra $40 and buy an F4. You'll get slide cocking, a sight rail you can mount something on, and the (drum-roll please) sub-zero valve. And by the way, if you do get an F4, check out K&P Customs on the F4OG website, www.F4OG.com
He makes aluminum double trigger frames for F4's, they cost more then ACI's, but he makes them to order, and they have an adjustable trigger. If you don't like double triggers, like me, since he makes it to order, I'm sure he could make you a single trigger frame. And he also does powder coating, anodizing, and the mod for a "mini F4." He's also working on a high-flow valve for the F4 (then we can go low pressure :)). No matter which marker you choose, you won't be dissapointed.

Oh..sorry, I didn't read it all the way, I thought you were going to buy one. Oh well, buy the F4 anyway, They're great markers.
