Jules Foote is a great baller, and has played for several very talented teams such as Hostile Kids, Redz Sedition, and Miami Effect. He's also one of the most controversial ballers out there, as demonstrated by this video.
This video was shot at XPSL Redlands. Jules shot out at least one live player, and did not get caught, at least not by the Refs.
Watch the Hilarity (http://media.putfile.com/jules_cheatingmaster)
No, I don't care if you think cheating is good or bad, and neither does anyone else. Once people get started arguing about cheating, it will turn into a Woodsball/MilSim vs Speedball Thread, and everyone knows how pointless those are. So, that being said, talk about Jules Foote and this vid, etc.

It is in my belief that this video shows the low integrity of this specific player and that because of this move, he/his team should have been automatically forfeited/banned from the league for the/a season.
Soley based on this video, I don't regard him as a very good player... No doubt, he might have skills, but I don't like him as a player.

Sure it's bad, but where was the crowd on this? Usually the crowd would have made a huge commotion about it, getting the refs attention. And how did the refs not see that? At least one ref should have been able to spot that.

Just watched it again STO, just as funny as last night. Jules is just as awesome as he ever was. No matter what everyone says, it takes skill to do what he did.

coolrazer - I would assume that they weren't really watching him because he was walking out and they were watching the rest of the game. You can hear a reaction from some people, though.

Not especially entertaining. I see no skill in doing what he did. Just lucky that no ref was watching.

For real?
I think what he did was wrong, i'm very surprised he didn't get caught. Looks like one of his team mates was high fiving him on his action too. I hate that teams like this even play. It makes it no fun for anyone.

how the **** did the refs not catch that?
STO Balla 22

Honestly, it's easy to blame the refs, but think about it. He distracted the ref that was closest to him, and if the other refs were doing their jobs, they should have been watching the remaining players. Since at least 2 of his team's players were shot out, they were most likely watching individual players, therefore they wouldn't have seen Jules do that.
[EDIT] In case you were wondering, I don't condone what he did in any way. It was definitely wrong. It just gave me a good laugh.

Your never gonna play with them. So dont even worry about it.
And yeh, XPSL refs tend to concentrate on 1 player from time to time, its a bit of a flaw really.
I do awe at the certain brilliance it takes to pull something like that though.
Saw it yesterday, but I just thought it was some random kid.

You must not play paintball. Jules's deadbox is on the other side of the field, opposite of the OTHER team's startbox.
And no, your point was poorly conveyed.

You must not play paintball either, noone can talk in the deadbox or else its a penalty.

So what did he do for all us dial up users? I think from what I've gathered so far, he shot them from the deadbox?

It looked as if it was just a practice. Jules is an amazing player. And if you did watch the video , someone from the dead box or a spectator said "DO IT DO IT" and one of his teamates gave him high five when he got back.

wow, i figure some players might get really mad, like had he not got that guy out when he ran past him and over the snake. but he made the play, which was pretty much suicidal, and then shoots some more, high fives, shoots again and drops the marker.
"that's the way you do it daddy"

Nope, he was playing for a XPSL Team.
I don't think it was someone from the deadbox, "Do it" was one of the loudest things you could hear. I would assume it was said by the cameraman or someone close to the cameraman.

A-ha! I knew he would be mentioned sooner or later.
I actually know two people who shoot at live players as they're going out all the time. They usually do it when they felt they have been bonus balled(most of the time it was only like 2 extra balls that hit them as they were getting off the field:rolleyes: ).

boy gets shot. boy distracts refs. boy shoots other players when refs arent looking. team-boy hi-fives boy when he enters dead-box, where he again shoots at players. the end.

Its real smooth. Like seriously only a few people can pull that off in middle of a tournament (5-6 or more refs per field)

Now, Jeezer, I've seen videos of XSPL players, on their way to the dead box (and even in the deadbox) yelling at the ref because of what they perceived to be a poor call.
I don't know what I am trying to say by saying that, but I guess wouldn't they then get a penalty for further arguing with the ref from the deadbox? Because I haven't seen anything but the refs ignoring them.
And finally, this may be a distance that there is between me and him, but having done run throughs, and seeing the blasting he got early in the video, and then tripping over the snake. I, personally wouldn't have the where with all to think to turn around and shoot while being out. If and when I take a spill like that, I usually trudge slowly and dazedly over to the deadbox muttering a few things.

It really depends, the entire rule is placed to stop people from helping out their teammates from the deadbox, arguing with the ref on your way to the deadbox would technically not be an infrigment on the intent of the rule.

Anyone can cheat to get ahead, therefore jules is your hero. Jules can actually think while tripping, while getting shot out. Jules must be legendary because Jules is in a paintball video. Shallow... You act like it's actually uncommon to get lit up, crash and burn. You can't keep a level head like jules, so you say that you find it ironic people degrading jules who has accomplished soooo much more in the sport.
It's important to let people like jules cheat, that way I can feel better about learning the sport in all of it's harshness. I think you are right about one point, cheaters attract ALLLL the attention.
Sorry, I dislike hero worship.
