Is there two kinds of regs? one that can come right from the adaptar and one that is down toward the air system? If there is which would be better? why?

there are vertical mount, and on gun mounted regulators. (example; smart-parts max-flow, palmer stabalizer male & female, etc.) it depends on what kind of set up you have. some people run both, a on-gun reg as a primary reg, and a secondary vertical reg for even more percise shot consistency, some people run vertical mounted regs, or just the on-gun reg. which is better? set-up wise? or performance wise? I really don't think there is a difference in what mounting style you get it all comes down to what make, what kind of set-up your running on your gun, and what you feel comfortable playing with. normaly nitro set-ups use on-gun mounted regs, but that is not always the case.
