not sure what to do

ok i have a tippmann 98 custom and i really like it and everything but i am in paintball tournaments and need a better gun, so i dont know what to do either sell my tippmann and get an ion or keep my tippmann and wait till next summer till i get the ion. what should i do.

Can you get air fills? If so, get something like a used E Bladed 'Cocker, or a used Timmy or the like. More than an Ion, but to me, the Ion's are all hype. I've shot one and it wasn't all that great. Just my 2 cents. :)

Why would you wait 'till next summer to get an Ion when you can get one now?

well i shot the ion and i think they are pretty cool, and the reason why i have to wait till next summer is because that is the only time i can get a job, my parents most likly buy me an ion for christmas. and i can get co2 fills at my freinds dads house he owns a paintball store and gives me discounts.

EDIT: An Ion won't work all that great on co2, won't work at all unless its antisiphoned. And then it shoot's down something feirce. Just so you know. ;)

No never, NEVER use co2, I'm sure the Ion could use A/S co2 for a period, but still its pushing it.

I don't care if SP says its OK. If anyone uses CO2 on their Ion, they deserve to be lit up in the balls for 10 minutes.

i wont use co2 on my ion i am going to try and buy 2 3000psi tanks for 60 dollars, great deal
