Question about Protecting your nuts..

well.. ive been paintballing for a while now.. and i know it stings and stuff whe u get hit.. and i know it would STING ALOT MORE if u got hit in the balls... so any good ideas for proctections? is therre any protectionns out there?? or u can make one? please help.. i dont wanna have a bleeeding nut :)

Any standard athletic cup is fine. I highly advise wearing a cup. And I speak from personal experience when I say it more than just stings getting shot there. I was on the ground for quite some time before I could get up to my feet. I was just rolling around in the dirt, in pain. Afterwards I couldn't walk normally for the next week or so. Believe me when I say to wear a cup. You, and your "boys" will thank me later. ;)

Right...go to a sports store that sells hockey/football/baseball/soccer equiptment, it's like whitey tighties with a pouch in front that has a nice solid piece of plastic that protects your *****. I wear one when I play hockey, and trust me, out of maybe 150 games I've been hit in cup once, bet let me tell you, it stung a little on the cup, and that slapshot was probably only in the 70s, if a paintball hits your *****(hehe, said it twice) at 300fps (which is about 200mph) your gonna live with it for a while. My sister's old boyfriend used to play paintball like 5 years ago with pumpguns, he got hit in *****(yes, third) he blacked out, fell to ground, woke up and started screaming. it hurts, dont' risk it, get a ***** protector

A cup? You can get them at any sports/athletic stores. It's a piece of hard plastic designed to protect your, *ahem* and it fits into an elastic harness type thing that wraps around your waist and thighs to hold it in place. It's designed so you can still move and run, but at the same time protecting you from serious injury in that area. You wear it under your pants but over your underwear. Any more questions?:laugh:

Yeah "cup" is pretty universal. They'll know what you mean. But on the off chance they don't, just break it down in simple terms and ask them for a "***** and testicle protector" :D

NO! use the cup... the towel is not a safe idea... be realistic.. a cup cost me 5 bucks... its more then worth it. I've taking more baseballs in the nuts then anyone else on my team and have 3 broken cups to prove it. They are the only way to go.

This thread has the best heading ever. Anyway, if you look hard enough, some paintball gear companies are making cups for paintball. I don't know if they're any different, but it might be worth checking out. I think Raven makes one.

If you don't have a cup a folded shirt or towel will work. That's what I do. I had to get hit in the @*#% before I thought of it though.

I neva git hit in the nuts playin paintball yet, and i hope i nevca do, but i play alot of baseball and i know that taking a ball in your nuts even wen u have a cupo on still stings like a mofo. Feels like ur balls r in ur stomach and ur gunna puke em up (ya its that bad). But, i hate thew feeling of a cup, it itches and gets in the way. Hell, I sing "I can run freely now, my cup is gone", thats how bad i hate em, but i still would reccomend wearing 1.

Hey, wear a cup. I know how it feels to get hit with a baseball there- my dad and I were playing catch and he threw a fastball (yes a real baseball not a tball) about 55 mph and it hit me in the testes. It hurts like *%^^%$T^*(&%I*(*&%^*&(^*(&!!!(*&)(*!!! Dont make yourself go through the pain of this, and dont get bleeding nuts!

Do the loin towel thing, get an old dish towel and tuck it into your pods belt or waistband so it hangs down in front. If of course the field lets you carry a towel out onto the field. It works and it's and not a bad idea to have a towel handy. However do not use it to wipe! Unless you've already called yourself out.

use a towel instead of a cup if u get hit in the balls w/ a towel the ball wont break (and neither will the other set of balls);)
