Bad Mods!

i think that the mods here are hypocritical. if i do ANYTHING bad a mod gets on my tail.

for example: under my avatar, under location i had utah (godamn it sucks here) the "goddamn it sucks here"ended up on a different line than the utah. a mod pm'ed me and told me that that made it look like pbreview had no class.

that is not the only time a mod has pm'ed me for me doing something wrong. just the lattest one and the only one that i could remember why.

but i look around and see that even moderators have slutty pics of girls in their avatars. i don't mind the girls.... i mind the contradictions. :pissed:

There are alot of users here who have pictures of girls in their avatars as well. That isn't a privilege reserved only for the moderators, it is one that can be used by anyone. If you're interested, I can even make you an avatar for you to use, free of charge no less. However, you won't see any moderators with a line in their sig or under their avatar that makes it appear that we are saying it sucks on these forums. That is something neither the users nor the moderators are permitted to do. In fact, the way I see it, there is no contradictions as far as this issue is concerned, and if you're going to call us hipocrites, I'm going to call you a big baby who's just throwing a fit because he didn't get his way. I can see Pig's point. Considering this is a G rated site I don't see how "it sucks" differs too much from the girl avatars.

Also, I think(not sure) Pig was saying the area where he lived sucks...not the website.

Yes but "it sucks here" appeared to be directed at the site. And that is where the problem arose. And no matter what the rating of this site, I think it's downright retarded to complain when you see a picture of a girl. If you look out your window at any given moment you could see a girl. God forbid that should happen. I might add that you "seeing his point" is an interesting position as no doubt he would be offended by your avatar. Not only is it mildy sexualy suggestive, but there is not one, but TWO girls in it. Save me now before I see anymore profanity...

To clear things up, I wasn't talking about people having girlies for their avatars. I have no problem with that what so ever. Having to change your sig for saying Utah sucks is a slightly different matter.

So I'm the one who asked you nicely to change not only the swearing, but to change it because it said it sucks "here" and that's not the sort of verbage nor image I want spread thru the threads. I also said that if it really sucks here so bad, you don't have to say! Correct?
You are the one that sent me this reply to that pm, (again please notice that I continued to show my graditude for your cooperation) explaining to me that it wasn't this site that sucked, it was your own state. It just looked like you had said "here" because the Utah and the comment were on two different lines.

i am glad to change the swearing to keep pbreview "classy". but it seems that many others, including mods, are contradicting you (Killer Kat). they are making this site trashy, which i don't mind. i just mind figures of authority contradicing each other. i don't see how swearing is less moral than sexuality.

and Killer, you were to me the most respectable mod on this site. you are one of the most moral people i have seen here. but now you are being a smart......bum (gotta keep it moral) at me for just pointing out that other people are sorta contradicing you.

Saying Utah sucks isn't much more offensive than my avatar(if any). If we are allowed to have these types of avatars why aren't we allowed to have some swearing? I don't really see the diffrence. If some people are offended by that though then it's your call to make.

My job here is to enforce the rules, not make them. I try to mix humor in with sarcasm and truth. I have to admit when I saw this post it made me feel bad that you said the things you had. I see now that you've edited the original. If I hurt your feelings then I here state my apology to you. However I still will stand by every word I printed because they are all true. and be truthful and try to name me all the mods without looking somewhere. If you can name them all and still say Magnus is the only one, something is wrong with you (no offense ment). But there are a whole lot if not all the mods are not hypocritical.

Paint Bulley, thats why I'm handling this through PM. I don't want any names or accusations out here in the public forums. This will only cause conflict and argument, and that's not really going to resolve anything, it'll just make it worse.

And by thanking Pig-Demon, I didn't mean to imply that I thought I was the only non-hypocritical mod, but nor am I saying that we, as mods don't contradict ourselves from time to time. I'm surprised he even considers me non-hypocritical. It's nice to get compliments though. :)

I still see this as I originally did, you didn't get your way, and now you're acting like a baby over it. Its not like they are porn, they have nothing expolsed so there is no problem, but if there was something expolsed then i could see people have a problem with it. the only thing i can think of you having a problem with pics of girls is that you are ***. 2nd- "It s---s here" is not inapropreate but does imply that explatives will be accepted here, which is diffendly not.

Solution: Get ride of these pictures of half naked people off the site and if you must, at least get someone that is dressed and not being sexually segestive. Thanks

Most of you need to grow up and deal with your problems with the moderators, who many also sometimes do things that abuse their power.

Mcot, it is VERY easy to point out problems with others, even if your own enlarged ego gets in your way.


And for the record, I've been playing paintball for 11+ years, since Splatmasters and Nelspot were about the ONLY guns to use. I've worked on just about every gun on the market (with exception to those customs like Adrenalin Angels, but they're basically the same as normal Angels).

If you can come up with ONE question in regards to my areas of speciality, then I will admit you have a point but until then, I think you're just a jealous hater.

Mods usally are very educated about paintball, for example I bet a mod can answer this question: What part on the Tribal guns, do people have the most trouble with? If they can answer that, there probibly able to answer most any other technicul prob. Give these guys a break, they spend all this time to help you.

I accually like the mods on this forum. But on others yes mods can be annoying. I have been playing three years. I know i don't know evrything there is to know about paintball. I am just saying that mods tend to think they know everything and they try to bash the newbies.

For example in the electro guns forum there is a sticky saying no blowbacks with electro frames.

On several occactions i have seen some newbie post something about the spyder flash or black dragun and get flamed. they didn't know what a blowback is. This irritates me because you should try to help the newbies and not flame them. And also I wrote something about theEM1 in the electro forum and some mod. Didn't want to flame the marker so he put lines like this _____ where his flames would be. Why don't people and mods alike just state what they didlike nd like about the gun and move on. A post like this

In this case, I can just tell you why I did it.


The Em1 was a mistake of superfluous technology. Kingman realized that the entire design was flawed and that's why they stopped production of it and changed to a more proven technology (electro frames on a standard blow back.....aka AMG and Flash)


Most of us mods, spend COUNTLESS hours on here moderating all the crap that gets dished out. Maybe before you point the finger, you should give us PROPS for all the good that we do. All you people want to do is blame us, but I don't see you doing ONE SINGLE THING to help besides try to deride others? How many times have I seen a thread report with your name on it? NONE, how many times have I seen a review report with your name on it..... NONE. Don't even start blaming people who ALOT of positive features that YOU don't and have VERY few of the negative aspects.

I think you kinda like this spamming, mod arguing chaos, if you want to bring more into it.

Over all, i'm sorry if i brought up a dead subject, i just now saw it and i wanted to add what i thought of it in. I have alot of respect for every mod, Super mod, and Admin in here, and i think they are doing a good job if you consider that they have to determin whats right and whats wrong with so many people looking over their shoulder.
