ok, going against popular belief - don't get the boomstick - it's GREAT barrel - but overrated... get something like j&j ceramic... CP... whatever - all under 50... they can all shoot just as good

CP perform extremely well for the price. Plus u dont have to go with the ugly J&J Ceramic(no offense).

I would say the Lapco Bigshot but they are out of stock on it. So I would agree with the J&J Ceramic

Definetly the Smart Parts All American series, it's worth the money, but if i were you, i would save up and get a more customizable gun such as a piranha or spyder.

Some people dont want to upgrade their gun to the max. Markers are all about preference. Doesnt a raptor take a spyder upgrades anyhow?

Nope, I don't think it takes the bolts and all. I'm not very familiar with the Raptor, but that's what I believe. And doesn't the Raptor take it's own barrels...?

I disagree. The boomstick is frequently praised but for legitimate reasons. By no means is it overrated. Its everything people say it is. Very accurate. Extremely quiet. Looks sweeeeet!. and its durable. Youve got that dependable DYE name behind it. Sure that hikes up the price but its worth it. You earn every penny back in performance. Also, with many setups it helps to balance out the overall gun setup-not like the lighter J&J or CP. And no, i am not saying those are bad barells, i think them both quite respectable. But in the end, i went for the boomstick. For that, i thank myself. Just my two cents.

ive seen in two tests when a Lapco outperformed a Dye even though they were extremly close dont put to much pride in the Dye name

When they did the testing, did they have a good paint match in both barrels?

I just ordered a CMI TRU-FLIGHT barrel that is the Quiet Barrel Version. It increased my range by like 20 yards. It was 50 dollars at Iand I Sports

A barrel will not increase your range... They may or may not increase your velocity though, but if it does, you'll have to turn it down as you'll be shooting high probably.

Sorry for my incorrect wording. It increases my accuracy range. When I say this I mean I get a tighter group at a farther distance. It is also very quiet.
