can the snatch grip on the freestyle pro be removed?

in what way do you mean that? you have to take it out to get the bolt out...but it won't function without it in...

Actually it can.

You must remove the bolt pin from the snatch grip and insert it into the valve/bolt assembly from the top of the marker. This is basically how the V7 works.

Again remove the valve/bolt pin from the snatch grip. Turn it upside down and insert it from the top of the marker. Make sure the pin goes all the way down and catches the in the gripframe, before you gas the marker up.
