I've never had a paintball break skin on me before. bruises, whatever. But breaking skin and bleeding, never.

Well, until recently. I usually wear gloves, but I couldnt find my left glove. So what happens? Someone shot me in my left hand, around the knuckles. The paintball burst, but it left several tiny cuts. It stopped hurting after a few minutes, but each small cut bled a little, and the skin around it inflamed, making it look like I had some rash, or that my hand suffered extremely light shrapnel damage (its only a pb, after all)

So then I go: "I hate my right glove, I'll leave it off for a around" Man was that stupid. Some guy shot my straight in the knucle, and again, the Pb burst, but it left 3 punctures in the skin around my knuckle.

Now then, I've always assumed that pbs wont break skin unless they are chronoed above 280, even then, I thought that was if the PB DIDNT break. Well, I'm asking for clarification, thanks.

Paintballs will break skin below 300 fps depending on the person, spin of the ball, where they hit, distance, etc.

Nearly any time I get hit I get on my actually body, blood gets drawn, unless I get shot from behind...

it might have been jsut your knuckle, lots of bone around that. ive had a ball break on my forearm and it left scars as you mentioned above, but i was wearing a short sleeve t shirt(again not alot of fat on my forearm area where i got hit). it could also have been the paintballs he was using... the cheap stuff balls... maybe that left the scar. Thats why my field is FPO (cause brass eagle "wild streak?" paintballs left scars)

Hand hits usually hurt a lot, and very often break the skin. I would say that what you described is entirely normal. Your hand is full of so many bones and cartilige compared to say your arm or leg that there is a lot more give and the force of impact will be greater. Its like having your head stopped by a steering wheel compared to an air bag (not as extreme, but you get the idea). The air bag will hurt less because there is more cushioning.

Everytime I've gotten hit in the hands without gloves, it hit some nerves and my hand went numb for ten minutes. Couldn't tell if my finger were on the trigger or not.

I got nailed in the back 3 times from a marker shooting 350fps. They not only left cuts (not like the little small shell cuts but the kind where it looks like you take a knife and cut a 1/2 inch circle into your back) and then I got these wicked 6" black circles around them. My whole back looked it was wicked looking.

Disclaimer for new players: this doesn't happen a lot almost never so don't be scared and be like "o noes... I'm going to get shot in the back and then have to get my back amputated" because it doesn't happen very often and this was close range and an accident (co2 + 105 degree heat = pain). Also you get the revenge later on so that makes it all better.

I have one of the little shell cuts on my wrist right now. I took the snake and my team left me with a 2 on 1 (me). Except I mostly play back and I am not to good playing with the snake. I got nailed in the wrist.

Don't worry aobut it to much it happens but not to much.

Arm, side, stomach, chest is its going fast enough its gonna bleed. Also the skin around your knuckles is very thin. so that is prolly y it bled
