Model 83 Question

I have the oppertunity to get a Model 83 for 20$ with a subscription to Paintball 2 Xtremes. I own a Rebel bottom-line and some upgrades and was planning to use the 83 as a backup gun. So is the stock barrel plastic and what is the barrel threading? Spyder? :confused:

ACTUALLY, the stock barrel isn't plastic....I don't know what the barrel is made of...The marker is plastic including the bolt (ew!)...The stock barrel has it's own threading...Unless you want to strip the threads, I recommend that you don't try to fit a barrel in...Instead, go to barrelsofamerica.com..They have m83 barrels.

I have the Model 83, it's actualy not a half bad gun for the money, the baral is metal, the body is plastic though, like he said above baralesofamerica apairently has barals that fit it. Personaly i dont think it is worth really buying a new baral for it though. This gun holds up well but is a B**** in cold weather.
