Could someone please help me, I was thinking about buying an ebolt for my 98 custom but I have heard they fry when they get wet. I live in the Pacific Northwest and if you're not aware of this it rains a lot up here. So I was wondering would a RT be better for me?

it's just like anything else electronic. If it gets wet, it will short out. Would you bring your playstation/xbox/gamecube and TV outside and play with it sitting in the rain?

Why do you want ebolt or RT? I'm not 100% convinced that you even need it. Why waste your money on it if you don't really need it?

He wants to shoot faster... I hear that the ebolt can take rain... just don't soak it in a puddle or lake or bathtub or whatever... On the other hand I have an rt and it's pretty nice (and a heck of a lot cheaper than the ebolt). Up to you and how much money you want to spend...

Ebolt= $300ish

Custom Pro Reciever halves from County Paintball- $50ish
Egrip from eBay or something- $100ish

Your choice. $300 or $150 for almost the same performance. (or so ive herd). Id go with #2.

Add a WAS and it's even better.

RT isn't tourney legal, so, if you plan to play with your gun in tourneys if you have the RT, you may want to talk to the organizers before entering.;)

Thanks, I'll give it some more thought.

Look on eBay or something for an E-Bolt. You can still find some used and occasionally new for a rediculously low price.

Does anyone know where to get Custom Pro Receiver Halves in Canada?

Just a question: Do you have HPA?

No, I do not. Does the Ebolt only run on that?

Yeah I'm pretty sure.

As far as I know, yes. I guess we can scratch the E-bolt off your list.

A stock price, yes. But, the remaining E-bolts are generally quite a bit cheaper than they were originally.

But they're still just as slow. The egrip might not make the gun a pneumatic(sp?) but it will be capable of speeds above 12 bps.

True, but I would still take an EP at 13 instead of a sear tripper at 15. Just my opinion though.
