REC/SCENARIO or SPEEDBALL?

Do you play more rec or speedball and why?

i like rec cuz i like lighting up newbies wit my cocker but i also like speedball cuz its a rush

I play both, but prefer Rec/scenario. First, I'm close to 40 and not as agile as I used to be. Second, longer Rec games lead to a more strategic oriented game (not to say that strategy doesn't figure into speedball). Small-team speedball is more of a tactical game. I like to play a couple of rounds of speedball before heading out into larger rec. games, it gets the blood flowing and the heart pounding. After that, I'm pretty spent, and when I get into a big rec game afterwards, I'm likely to sit in the backfield and lob support paint until I'm rested and ready.

I prefer Rec games and scenario games over speedball. No real reason why, just I like time to play...

i Prefer speedball its faster paced and im an impatient person. When my internet slows down(rarely) i get pissed thats how impatient i am.

i like sCenario better. Theres more strategy and you get to dostuff like ambushes and be snipers and stuff....

yes.. i also tend to like rec and scenarios better. I like the larger scale and the multiple objectives.

although i dont know exactly wht your definitions of rec and speedball maybe......at the field i go to, there are two speedball courses and the woods and usually we break up into two teams and battle it out everywhere.

i LOVE playin in the woods.but in the woods we made a speedball type set up (bunkerwise), but its still in the woods, not speedball. so i like rec

yea all thru the woods there are bunkers and forts and such.....its a really good field. not a very professional field but damn fun

well i have only played speedball once and i loved it so now i am going to build a course. but i will always play both bc you can get tired just playing one game and playing different types of games on different courses is more challenging

yes speedball is cool..but if you can get into a really good scenario game with tonnes of people.. its awesome.
Thousands of paintballs flying in the air, the screams of victory.. I can almost taste it..

what about a james bond scenario, theres one "bond who has to get down a hill trying to get away from say 10 people kgb siberian special forces. it's still in the thinking stage, but i think it's be fun as hell.

ohyeah, i forgot the most important aspect, its on a ski hill. forgot to mention that, then you just take up the lift and start a new game. think about dropping cliffs and going through trees trying to get away from all the people shooting at you, and occasionally returning fire up the hill. just wait, in 10 years it'll be the hot thing

sure.. but the "kgb"s would have to be using pumps or brass eagles(equivalent to russian quality LOL!). The james bond guy should have the only 'gun that shoots strait.. like in the movies.

haha yeah its amazing how they shoot 400 bullets but he never gets hit, they must be shooting muskets or something, i think it's be hard enough though, you'd have to concentrate on shooting and riding or skiing and you wouldn't have your hands to balance and your target is constantly moving down unfamiliar terrain.

i'm not talking abaout going down the bunny hill either, i'm talking some back country, or else there'd be lots of poeple on hill. we wanna try to keep the number of civilian casualties down.

Can I be bond. I don't want to use a crap marker. But bond doesn't necessarily have to be on a ski hill either. He can do anything first try. He can fly planes, operate any heavy machinery including battleships and such, you could make it a water skiing adventure. LOL! That would be cool too. But your right, I think skiing down a hill with nothing but a paint marker and a bunch of russians(wink) shooting at you in sub zero temperatures would be quite entertaining.
