i dun like da ir3, but the 3 pivot points sounds kinda interesting..i wonder how the trigger pull would feel. da ir3 looks phat if u take off dat retarded saber piece on the grip. id go for da 2k2 c&c.....leaves room for custom personalization.

the ir3 is actually kinda growing on me, and i think it looks great (maybe its just that silver one), i didnt like it at first, but now it looks nice and you have to love all those features, i would definately say the ir3, it has so many more features that it makes the older LCDs seem obsolete . . .

Looks like in the new one, they are doing away with most straight egdes. Cutlass guard is different, but good. I would think that the newer angel would be the way to go (if you have the $$)

A friend of mine was at Mardi Gras and said there were 2 pro teams using IR3's (maybe more but he watched both of them) GZ and Avalanche. Just about everyone was chopping 6-7 balls per game (his words).

He was talking to Rocky and Rocky said you can easily get 16-17bps with the new trigger frame, but the COPS system (anti chop system) was not working 100%.

My friend also told me that later Rocky told off the WDP guys at their booth when his IR3 was acting up. He told them it was a POS.

I know this is second hand knowledge, so take it with a grain of salt.

I made my mine set. Im going with the 2k2 Angel, the one in the pic.

For these reasons:

a. Looks, it makes me wet everytime I look at it!

b. Price, I am on a budget.

c. The IR3 has to much crap that wont really make me play better, like the COP as Wolvy said it wsas not working 100% so whats the good in that, and 16-17 balls is insane so there for I would have to buy a new hopper which spent so much money on already. The 2k2 is simple in my perspective. Not all this other BS.

d. More upgrades than then the IR3, well they'll be more, but I cant wait.

more I think but I cant remeber!

Thanx for ur help!

Oh yea instead of strating another whoole thread! What upgrades would you recomend for me to get?

Anyone know how long the new 2k2 line will be running with the dust colors?

You know, I just bought a Fly and I really can't say they "need" upgrades at all. I love mine, I got my trigger down to just nothing at all, hell goto my post 17bps, I just got the one I finished up to 19bps on the trigger, in SEMI-AUTO mode just by doing the trigger. Course, I would set the mrof lower, but still insane. Stock barrel shoots pretty damn nice, but a freak kit would be my recommendation and a Kapp low-rise.

heres the link to my post,

I do trigger jobs like that if your interested.

ohh, why do the pro's have to be such as****** about paintball? I mean come, Rocky being a **** about a BRAND NEW IR3, probably given to him (though most likely sold cheap) and it screws up but he has to *****? **** happens. Oh-well, I'm sure he's got an equally modded back up gun too.

it seems like just about every first model paintball gun either has some bugs or flaws to work out ... I wouldnt be supprised if it was a pre-production model Rocky got that might have had some things wrong with it ...

I'm gonna order me a brand new dark IR3 pewter to black fade with black A.I.R (45/45k)

screw all you guys who talk shyt about the pro's
you dont need to talk shyt about them just because they "heard" that rocky cagnoni (who is probably the most stand-up-guy in paintball) told off WDP because his marker didnt work right.
I doubt it is true, and if it is, he was probably critisizing the marker because they WANTED to know if it was good or not.
most companies want to know what they can do to improve their markers, or whatever the given company makes.
