In my limited experience, there's four criteria to juge paint by:1. Roundness 2. Consistency 3. Fill thickness 4.The bounce test (http://www.automags.org/resource/tech/tomstech/04_paint_testing.shtml)
Sounds reasonable, right? So why does my local feild force my to buy their paint(it's all that can be used in the tournament my team's in) under the "primo" guise if it totally sucks?! It's called Pro-ball premium(or something similar), has a nice thick white fill, and that's about it. It's very small bore, not even close to round(the friggin seam is so big they look like Rosie O'donnel with a wedgie) and they bounce test at 2 on a good day. Some handfulls yielded consistent 1s. Does the shop think we're friggin stupid? Are they buying cheap paint to price-gouge the entrants? I bet...Wal mart paint is looking pretty good, since they are starting to carry lower end RPS stuff...I'm done ranting...
