I'm looking to go for a much smaller and lighter marker set-up, and I am wondering what short barrels are made that are compatible with piranha threading? I am looking for good accuracy up to medium ranges, but I'm not worried about long range shooting.

A 10" CP one piece sounds good for you. And Piranha's use Spyder threads.

The CP 10" 2 piece. it is very good, and it has as much range as any other barrel

I would personally go for a LAPCO Bigshot. A much nicer barrel than the 1 piece and cheaper than the 2 piece IMHO.

Are a few inches of aluminum really going to cut down teh weight of your marker? I would look into getting a new tank or lighter hopper if you really had an issue with weight. However, a shorter barrel will make your gun smaller.
I like both the lapco and the CP, I just use the CP because IMHO it looks better. But that's up the the user. So if you're set on a barrel, those are some really nice, quality barrels to look into. Just pick one that is aesthetically pleasing to you.

I am getting a smaller hopper and tank, but the barrel is to make it easier for me to maneuver it around stuff. I already took the drop forward off and moved my tank to the front and it made a lot of difference, but I still have trouble swiveling the barrel around bunkers and such.
