Ok so I got a Promaster. Took it out of the box read over the manual set it to Unlimited Semi Auto. Put the Halo on set the Victory Borad to 20bps. Gassed the Marker and then FSDO. Played with the dwell and the regs. Fixed that Problem. Regased the marker and went to town on some targets. Set the trigger down to nothing. It was about the best money I spent for a back up to my Alias. Its a little on the loud side. But thats ok. Black is the only color. But who cares. I was able to throw rope after rope with this marker. On Target and after shooting long distance it just as good as any other electro out there. Everyone was telling me to get a Ion. Psss I have a little problem with buying plastic guns. Just say no to a Ion and Get a Promaster... Bottom line its 100-200 more but you get alot more in the Promaster than the Ion. And its alot more Durrable as far as materials. Only thing now is I gotta invest in a small 45/45 tank to complete the tightness. Anyone else Love it. I think it was worth every penny. Bottomline its better than Ion I know alot of Ion players have came to me and asked me how much did you spend on it. $380. Then they shoot it and are like WTF why did I get a slow Ion. Not dissing the Ion the Choice is clear.

im getting the promaster in about a week..and i'd no doubt trade in my girlfriend for one, but dont tell her i said that...cause she might trade me in for a louis vuitton handbag...
yes the promaster is a sweet gun. But one thing I have to tell you off about though is that the ION is not plastic fool. Abd ION is still good. But Promaster is better.

yes its composite polymer. Which has the same chemical composition as plastic. Even though the internal parts are all coated with aluminum, what happens if the coating comes off  .

Composite Ploymer hmmmm. Sounds like a type of plastic to me. Yes I understand that there is Aluminum in the marker but still. Theres Plastic. Even if its a composite. I wouldent throw my money at plastic or composite. Like I said this is nothing against the Ion. I just prefer good ole Aluminum. There both cheep azz markers. Just an Opinion people.

I'm pretty sure they're all made of aluminum. And just so all of you know, because it doesn't seem clear to some of you, the only parts that are plastic are the shell and trigger, everything else is what you'd expect to see in a paintball gun.
And enjoy your new Promaster:)

Would it help if we called it tough plastic? Its nothing more than plastic with a little more endurance. And those metal bodykits, well thats like buying an ion then getting the 100-150$ bodykit then slappingyourself in the face because you just spent 350-400$ for an ion with a piece of metal on it. PM>ION.

ICD love. Don't own a Promaster. Never even shot a Promaster (damn college ). But the Freestyle is a DAMN nice gun.
Enjoy your Promasters. I may pick one up next year around Spring Break. Hopefully I'll be able to grab the Tornado valve and the to-be JDS LPR :D .

think of it as the same feel and speed of the freestyle.

i got mine yesturday....and WOW RAMPING IS CRAZY FAST. The trigger is awsome compared to the Ion, and it feels a whole lot more solid.
Unfourtunately, my reg was dead out of the box, and i had to blow 100$ CAN on a CP reg (i'm more than slightly bitter over that)
WOW is all i can say really, it's everything i expected and more. (except the stupid reg, but you know...**** happens...)
