I would just like to say, for all you Tippy lovers, one thing. Soon, I will be getting a Powerfeed 'Mag. NOW NOW NOW, before you say, "TRAITOR!", lemme say this: someone offered me 250 dollars for my 98 Custom and tank. Needless to say, I immediately accepted, considering my setup (with tank) is only worth maybe 350 bucks. But, later that day, I was thinking about life without my Tippy as a backup (at least), and I nearly cried. I quickly phoned the guy and told him that the deal was off, and I wanted to keep my Tippmann. Thankfully, he thought the same, and had decided to get a Spyder (BLAH! Nahhh, J/K, they're cool). So, moral of story: instead of getting 250 bucks to spend on some seriously cool upgrades for my soon-to-be 'Mag, I kept my Tippmann. GOD BLESS TIPPY'S! LOL....

I absolutely LOVE my tippy...I've had mine for about a year now, and have not had major problems with it, just had to get a few small parts from Tippmann, which was no hassle and hardly had a problem with their customer service.

I am planning on buying a Bushmaster, just don't know when, and when I do, I plan on keeping my tippy as a backup, I cannot BEAR the thought of selling my beloved tippy :)

I too could not bear sell my tippy. I put it in my local want-ad for 250, got a few offers and decided I wanted to keep it. I am planning on a new gun but the tippmann will still be in my possesion and used a back up.

I ran into that same dilemma when i bought my vision imp.
Should i sell my baby tippy? It was like the thought of giving up your first born child.

Needless to say, i kept my Tippy. STill use it for when when i play woodsball (its the type of gun that was made for the woods).

I've had my 98 custom for about 2 years now. I bought a flatline for it about a year ago. I've never had a single problem with it, ever. I plan on getting either a black magic cocker or a flatline autococker. I still wanna have a little bit of my tippy with me on the field when i play. *sniff*
Even when I no longer have a use for it, which I dont know if that time will ever come, I will still at least hang it on my wall as a keepsake.

You can always count on a 98 Custom.

I'm the same way. I don't ever plan on selling my Tippy. Someday when I have a kid, they will inherit my Tippy, and I'll move on.
